Well, the President’s SOTU address on Wednesday was pretty good, but even better and more popular was his STFU address to the Republicans in Baltimore two days later. I would have preferred a more aggressive and progressive President – an FDR, say – but this guy is sure good at demonstrating how intellectually and morally bankrupt the other side is, and does it with a smile on his face. Say what you will of the amorphous and sometimes pusillanimous mass called the Democratic Party, but the Republicans literally don’t have a single idea that isn’t a Bush & Cheney idea. And we must never let America forget that.

C’mon Terry, Larry, Michelle and the Grating One, what were your favorite parts? Oh, that’s right, you don’t know a thing about it, cuz Faux News didn’t cover it and we all know that in right-wing-nut world, if it’s not on Faux it NEVER HAPPENED. Ignorance is bliss!
Personally, I liked the part where he pointed out their extremism in making this VERY MIDDLE OF THE ROAD Health Care Reform Bill seem like a Bolshevik plot. The Republicans don’t give a fig for reality, they don’t have to, their remaining followers are all low-information types who are easily swayed by name-calling and fear-mongering.
