Vern, have you ever lived in the communism with a socialized medicine?….. I have for 22 years.
If not, from where are you getting your bovine socialists ideas?…. Hitler?…. Stalin?…. Mao?
Or are your bovine socialists ideas genetically chronic?
You may take the fifth, Vern.
I suppose you expect to be spoken to with respect, Mr. “Refuge,” as you allegedly came from some horrible Communist place. I say “allegedly” because if you really had, you would know the difference between Communism and the limited reform bill Senator Whitehouse is referring to.
He’s not even talking about “single payer healthcare” – which many Americans would like to see, and would STILL not even be “socialized medicine” LET ALONE Communism.
He’s not even talking about single payer’s weak little sisters, the “Public Option” or the Medicare Buy-In, which we were unable to get into the bill – and to refer to either of those as “Communist” would be laughable to any sentient being.
No, he’s referring to the current modest but worthy Senate healthcare reform bill, which does the following:
Prevents insurance companies from denying coverage due to pre-existing conditions;
Insurance companies who jack up their rates will be barred from selling on the “exchanges”;
Insurance companies will immediately be forbidden from denying coverage to any children;
I.C.s can no longer drop you for becoming sick;
You’ll no longer need to pay unlimited amounts out of your own pocket for treatments you need;
Families and businesses will save costs on health insurance;
Medicare will be strengthened;
It covers 30 million currently uninsured,
and LOWERS THE DEFICIT more than any bill in over a decade.
If you think all that sounds like Communism, then I’ll go out on a limb and say you’ve never seen Communism.
(On second thought, this is Fiala, isn’t it? Then you have seen Communism, except you’re batsh*t insane!)
Well Vern, you have just described health care reform implemented by Adolf Hitler in Germany and for a verbatim adopted by the communists in 1948 in the Europe.
FYI, between 1940 and 1948 I and my family were cared for under the Hitler’s reform until communists adopted it. That is why I have diminished hearing ability because the communists could not afford to buy penicillin from the west so my never ending ear infections destroyed my ears. I can gave you 1001 horror stories about the socialized medicine.
[Between 1883 and 1889 Bismarck put through a program for social security far beyond anything known in other countries at the time. It included compulsory insurance for workers against old age, sickness, accident and incapacity, and though it was organized by the State it was financed by employers and employees. Sound familiar? This is American-style Social Security!]Citation.
Please notice the “compulsory insurance” statement above.
Since someone had to pay for it the employment was also compulsory. There was no unemployment, under Hitler nor communists.
Do you know that you would get arrested if you could not prove your employment on demand by police?… Same like car insurance here?
After age 15 every person was issued the citizen’s ID, size of the US passport, and in that passport you had a stamp from the employer showing that you work. If you did not work the work was assign to you by the government. The work which no one would do…. same as is done here by the illegal immigrants.
Your beloved bill, Vern, contains a section (conspicuously omitted by you) under which you will be fined, arrested or both if you do not carry proof of the insurance.
So any COP can stop you and ask you for a proof of the insurance….. that is a communism my friend!
Under Hitler, my father could not prove his employment so he was assign compulsory work in German labor camp.
Well it is cumming and you will learn soon what you have prayed for. We already know what we got from your Obama pray.
Definitely the bill will be good for socialists like you so you get your meds free and regularly!
Stanislav, thanks for sharing stories of the bad old days. You are sounding a lot more stable than you did last year, you seem like a new man. But still, something in your experience or personality keeps you from seeing anything but two extremes.
As flawed and disappointing as this bill is (we are still going to fight for a public option or Medicare buy-in to balance off the mandate – if not this year then next) what we are attempting to inch toward is Universal Health Care for all Americans. And just because the Nazis and Communists had some kind of Universal Health Care doesn’t make it Nazi or Communist. That is totally some kind of logical fallacy. EVERY CIVILIZED NATION EXCEPT FOR US has Universal Health Care of some kind, except for us! And most of those are great places to live.
It’s absurd to think that the only alternative to totalitarian dictatorship is the insane profiteering non-system America has right now, where tens of thousands die each year for lack of care, hundreds of thousands of supposedly insured folks go bankrupt from illness or injury, and insurance costs and profits climb steadily higher day by day. I would just say to you, Stan, relax and stop worrying so much. We’re in a pretty healthy Constitutional democracy, this bill is going to pass, and no jackbooted thugs are going to be kicking down your door, friend!
Vern, judging based on your accomplishments, except for your tonk, you have accomplished absolutely nothing, probably still living with your parents. That is why you want rich people pay for your existence.
In contrast I am independently wealthy and on the way out from this neo-communist USA.
That is why I will not run for any office in the future because I will not be here.
In my estimate it will take about 40 years before this country comes to some seances and I do not have that time and 22 years of communism is enough for me.
It is your turn now maybe you will learn something from it.
The socialism is like pig-flue and there is no vaccine for it. All infected must die out.
Historically it did happened before and it will happen again.
Pedroza, every time you suppers my post you are showing your Mexican primitiveness.
It all works against you!
Yeah, that’s the Stanislav I remember. Don’t suppers him, Art! (Meds from yesterday wore off?)
#5,
Aww, I don’t wanna have to wait 40 years for a seance!!!
By the way Stan you are so dumb:
That is why you want rich people pay for your existence.
The Public Option we’ve been trying to get (which isn’t even in this bill) is PREMIUM-FUNDED. Get it, moron? Premium-funded! When I sign up for it I expect to pay for it MYSELF.
Vern, you are talking to yourself I am excluded from your discussion because Pedroza is melancholic again.
E-mail from Fiala:
Vern, if you want to engage in an intelligent discussion you may join me at http://orangejuice.ocsatire.com/perl/oj.pl where psychopath Pedroza has no control over the free exchange.
Anyway, I cant figure out why you subscribing to Pedroza’s BS….. are you so desperate?
1. It seems that your comments go into some spam folder, and somebody – probably Red Vixen or Art – sorts through them to make sure they’re not offensive or obscene before approving them. So you sort of go through an extra filter – something you’ve earned with your past behavior.
2. We really have no common ground to discuss things which I can discern. It provides entertainment value – and possibly educational value – to toss barbs at each other in public (like me and Crowley do.) But there’s no point arguing in private, as we’re not going to change each others’ minds about anything. And I consider your little satire blog arguing in private.
3. Aren’t you the guy who used to photoshop me having sex with goats and sheep?
