Alfredo Amezcua and Sean Mill
Alfredo Amezcua presided over another meeting of his community organization, the Santa Ana Collaborative for Responsible Development (SACRED) Community Coalition, tonight at the Santa Ana Public Law Center, at 7 pm.
There must have been over 20 in attendance. We heard from Erualdo Gonzalez, who is affiliated with Cal State Fullerton and the Centro Cultural de Mexico; Susan Luevano; and Ezequiel Gonzalez, from the Public Law Center. They discussed research they have collected in the area affected by the Santa Ana Station District development.
We also were introduced to Michael Metcalfe, an affable urban planner who has many years experience with such developments. Metcalfe is working with Amezcua’s group Pro Bono.

On a serious note, “operation undermine” was in full effect. While the leaders of the gadfly mob, the Stroud’s, were absent, “usual suspect” soldier Thomas “Tommy Boy” Gordon was there lurking in the back of the room.
Other than a ridiculous outburst directed at Art Pedroza he offered nothing. However it appeared that “Tommy Boy” got ahold of the sign-in sheet and was copying down email addresses of those in attendence.
You can be sure that “Tommy Boy” will be sending those folks an email trying to entice them to join he and the other community dis-organizers in their effort to undermine Alfredo and the coalition.
I doubt the folks from Chicanos Unidos will be joining the “usual suspects” at their meeting anytime soon.

Earth to Sean…Nobody truly works Pro-Bono. She will be getting a little something for her trouble at some point in the future if not now. This Amezcua group reminds me of old Rudy Montejano or more recently Nativo Lopez and Sal Mendoza who stepped forward to get rich quick while “helping the poor unrepresented Mexicans”. Montejano was run out California on a rail after being disbarred, Mendoza got caught with his hand in the cookie jar selling over priced insurance to the school district and Nativo, we all know how he forced poor Mexicans to buy his protection membership in Hermandad. Let these fine “Latino Leaders” meet til the cows come home, but don’t be surprised if one day they join the likes of Former Councilmembers Ted Moreno and Tony and Aida Espinoza Romo and Ojeda, and end up serving time in Lompoc.

You are scared out of your mind. Your worst nightmare – a group working jointly pro bono because they beleive in the economic and educational development of all residents.
This scares you because this concept of opportunity for all is foriegn to you.
Talk about white collar crime? Look at at wall street, mortgage financial institutions and the health insurance industry. They are exclussively hispanic free. Why are you not scared while these white leaders meet till the cows come home.

A group of community members, Hispanic and white, come together to fight for the community and they try and paint a picture of a criminal enterprise.
This is how these folks operate. They start whisper campaigns to try and scare those that don’t know any better.
Maybe it’s time to revisit convicted criminal and tax cheat Tim Rush again. Should we in the community discount everything he is involved in due to his criminal past?
Why is Sean bothered by Tim Rush serving a few months in Lompoc
but NOT by Ted Moreno, Tony Espinoza, Roman Palacio, Aieda Espinosa, Art Romo, and Peter Ojeda??? All of them served hard time but Sean thinks they are fine members of our community? Why Sean why?

Please try and get your facts straight. Aida Espinoza was never convicted, nor charged, of any crime.
Tony, Roman and Aida never served any time in jail.
Tim Rush stole from innocent people who trusted in him. His crimes were so egrecious that the state of California revoked his real estate license for life. Ted Moreno on the other hand was allowed to get his license back. So I guess the governing bodies think of Tim as untrustworthy as well.
Another problem with Tim is that he has not been a good citizen since getting out of prison. He has a problem paying his taxes and has filed BK on multiple occasions.
The county of Orange currently has a judgement against Tim for failing to pay his property taxes. Paying taxes is part of being a good citizen. When will he pay?
Tim is not a home owner as he like to claim, his property is owned by Bruce Mulhearn, his boss.
Tim would have to payoff the judgement against him if he were to take title. He refuses to do so. What a scumbag!
