Did Figgy get to meet President Obama?

I just received the email below from one of our readers. It looks like the Angels’s Chone “Figgy” Figgins has made the All Star team after all, for the first time. Go Figgy!

Great news Season Seat Holders!

Due to Evan Longoria’s injury, Chone Figgins has been selected to participate in tonight’s All-Star Game! Be sure to tune in and watch Chone and teammate Brian Fuentes tonight as the American League and National League All-Stars square off in the Mid-Summer Classic.

Game starts at 5pm Pacific on FOX. We wish Evan Longoria a speedy recovery and Figgins a great game tonight.

Do you know if there is any truth to the rumor that Figgy supports the Renaissance Plan, is in favor of gay marriage, is appalled by Mater Dei’s pedophile problem and just loves Gustavo?
