Lucille Kring Made a Likely Fatal Campaign Mistake: Followed Brandman’s Self-Serving Agenda 100% in 3-2 Votes

Jordan Brandman Tuesday night sucked the life out of Lucille Kring’s campaign when she stood behind his self-serving actions.  But he looks happy, doesn’t he?

Lucille Kring made a likely fatal mistake last night at Anaheim’s Council meeting in following the self-serving, scoop-up-the-cash-on-the-way-out-the-door, demands of fellow Councilmember Jordan Brandman.  She was the deciding vote in sending Brandman back to the OCWD until the moment that the new Council removes him, in refusing to accept the demands of 18,000 voters to get rid of the twin hotel subsidies, and in appointing Brandman crony Arturo Fierro to be Anaheim’s new City Attorney, which will require over $100,000 of taxpayer money to buy him out after the election.

Kring wastes your money.  Kring cares more about her contributors and independent expenditure supporters than taxpayers.  Simple message!

While her votes may be popular with Curt Pringle (the political godfather of whom she is the red-headed stepchild) and Disney/SOAR  — which with other organizations is mounting a full-on, Charles-Munger-tanking-the campaigns-of-Leslie-Daigle-and-Anna-Bryson-style assault on the mailboxes of voters who already KNOW that she’s bought by the Cops and the Mouse and don’t need to be reminded of it to dislike her any more — they won’t be popular with the public, which is VERY ATTENTIVE to what is going on in this election, especially involving her ties to the guy who almost single-handedly imposed the idiotic and reckless STR policy that has ruined neighborhoods, threatened homeowner’s equity, bought the city some massive lawsuits … and brought money into Brandman’s campaign.

SiSTR Lushy’s going to pay for those decisions, IF people contribute to getting out the message out to voters in District 4 — even if it is only on cheap single-colored flyers on flimsy white paper.  Her actions last night were shameless; now District 4 needs an army of people to drop leaflets and get out the word.

More on that later, as this author’s “moving adventures” are nearing a close (but not there yet.)  Anyone who has ideas about messages and means to explain to District 4 voters the horrors of what Kring supported last night.  I’ll be back later today with my own thoughts.

Meanwhile, have you caught up on your reading?

About Greg Diamond

Somewhat verbose attorney, semi-disabled and semi-retired, residing in northwest Brea. Occasionally ran for office against jerks who otherwise would have gonr unopposed. Got 45% of the vote against Bob Huff for State Senate in 2012; Josh Newman then won the seat in 2016. In 2014 became the first attorney to challenge OCDA Tony Rackauckas since 2002; Todd Spitzer then won that seat in 2018. Every time he's run against some rotten incumbent, the *next* person to challenge them wins! He's OK with that. Corrupt party hacks hate him. He's OK with that too. He does advise some local campaigns informally and (so far) without compensation. (If that last bit changes, he will declare the interest.) His daughter is a professional campaign treasurer. He doesn't usually know whom she and her firm represent. Whether they do so never influences his endorsements or coverage. (He does have his own strong opinions.) But when he does check campaign finance forms, he is often happily surprised to learn that good candidates he respects often DO hire her firm. (Maybe bad ones are scared off by his relationship with her, but they needn't be.)
