If Beall St. could shut up: RSM Mayor suggests Renee Good had it coming.

Patience, I counsel myself. Forbearance. Restraint. I must hold back from detailing all the ways in which, for decades now, Rancho Santa Margarita Mayor-for-Life Tony Beall (and his Trump-operative wife Jennifer) have been the living personification of everything regular people hate about Republicans. Maybe we’ll get to that later if there’s time. But we gotta start with Tony’s latest.

It started… well it really started September 10 when Tony subjected the council audience to a tearful tribute and prayer for white-victimhood martyr Charlie Kirk (at a meeting coincidentally held the day Kirk was killed.) We’ll get to Tony’s Kirk tribute later, but it did inspire RSM resident Breanne Boyle, at the Jan. 14 meeting, to do the same for Renee Nicole Good, who’d been murdered by Trump’s ICE agents in Minneapolis a week earlier:

Later, wrapping up the meeting, Mayor Tony responded, sounding for all the world like a boot-licking authoritarian functionary, though perhaps I am unkind?

“I fully support our law enforcement… including ICE, and as far as I am concerned I would pledge my full co-operation with them. Proudly.

“… With respect to safety, I would recommend to all residents [if you decide to protest] … never interfere with law enforcement activities, don’t physically threaten the life or safety of any LEO, and that will greatly enhance everybody’s safety.”

Thus, all Tony could muster on behalf of the murdered Minneapolis mother was to imply falsely that she’d been “threatening the life/safety” of ICE officers, and pretty much had it coming, continuing the vicious lies of the Trump administration that any American with two eyes and a conscience sees right through. Kiss the boot, blame the victim.

Remember too: this was FIVE days after two protesters in Santa Ana were shot point-blank in the eyes and BLINDED by DHS pepper balls. Caden Rummler and Britain Rodriguez were ALSO doing nothing to threaten law enforcement. But Mayor Tony says, if you just don’t threaten the Big Men With Guns, you won’t get killed or blinded. Or, at least, you might not. Actually Tony said “that will greatly enhance everybody’s safety.” Those six words are doing a LOT of work there.

In Beall’s view, anyone who would protest the violence of ICE must be “deranged,” must have “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” A few days ago OC’s legendary conservative columnist Steve Greenhut posted “These ordinary citizens in Minneapolis protesting the ICE gestapo are amazing. The history books will remember them as the true badasses.” And the Rancho Santa Margarita Mayor responded “TDS is real, and on full display in Minneapolis – LOL!”

LOL, hilarious stuff – Minnesotans defending their neighbors and their rights! Gotta be deranged, right? One thing’s for sure, in these times that try men’s souls, we can see who would have been American revolutionaries and who woulda been TORIES. Tory Beall.

4 Months Earlier: Lionizing Charlie Kirk

By sad coincidence, Charlie Kirk was killed in Utah scant hours before the regularly scheduled Sept 10 RSM Council meeting, and Mayor Beall was visibly shaken. I still think most of our right-wingers to whom Charlie became a saint had no idea who he was when he was alive, but I’m sure Mayor Tony did. His immediate reaction was to announce that Charlie had been “assassinated” for his “proud conservative and Christian views.” This, before any of us even knew who killed him or why, was irresponsible, and resident Jackie Martin responded later in the meeting:

What was that? “He carried and shared his conservative political beliefs, and his religious Christian beliefs, with pride; and for that, today, he was assassinated.” Maybe “assassination” is technically correct, but he sure wasn’t killed by “the left” or any “THEY.” From all we know so far, he was killed by one young, gun-loving, Utah misfit who had come to care about a transgendered person and couldn’t take any more of the vicious rhetoric Kirk used to spout on that topic.

Were these “conservative” or “Christian” views? It is offensive to conservatives and Christians to be lumped in with the shit Charlie spouted. If I’m not mistaken (correct me!) Charlie’s major, repeated points were:

  • The real oppressed people in today’s society are white people, men, Christians, and straight people, ESPECIALLY white straight Christian men;
  • it’s very COURAGEOUS to admit that out loud;
  • and PROVE ME WRONG.

But Charlie Kirk didn’t deserve to die, he deserved to live long enough to be humiliated repeatedly and publicly for his hateful self-pitying rhetoric, humiliated by debaters better equipped than the undergrads he picked on.

To Mayor Tony Beall though, Charlie Kirk was a kindred spirit, cut down in his prime, while Renee Good was just an irritant who brought her killing on herself with her Trump Derangement Syndrome. There were many differences between the Charlie and Renee, but the most important one was only Renee was killed by agents of our government.

What kind of people live in Rancho Santa Margarita, and why do they keep electing Tony Beall? I’m told, though, that there will be a lot of upset people showing up at the next Council meeting, this Wednesday night, Jan 28th, at 7pm. Maybe we’ll be seeing the beginning of a new Rancho Santa Margarita!

Tony & Jennifer at Trump ’25 inauguration: “I would describe it as the exclamation point after many, many months of hard work. It was thrilling, and a moment that we will always treasure. What we got today was Donald Trump, the same man that gave his very first speech announcing he was going to run for president. What was so refreshing about now-President Trump from the beginning is that he is authentic, unscripted, and unabashedly proud…”
