"Admin" is just editors Vern Nelson, Greg Diamond, or Ryan Cantor sharing something that they mostly didn't write themselves, but think you should see. Before December 2010, "Admin" may have been former blog owner Art Pedroza.
Hey the other guys read this stuff that is great hope they send it to all their friends.
Simple
If crooks do the deal you can bet it is a crooked deal.
If a politician takes in hundreds of thousands of dollars and even millions over the years then votes on a secret agreement with the developer that paid him or her? Straight up crooks.
Imagine if the team were the World series Champion Anaheim Angels instead of the Cursed loser Los Angeles Angels. Crooked deal gets the kismet.
If there ever is an emergency in Anaheim, fire, flood, earthquake we will all find out real quick why the infrastructure needed hundreds of million more from from the resort industry to survive.
Drive down the streets and note the power lines running over your head – all come down in a serious disaster but not in the resort of course, there underground. Considering the whole city will be up in flames they think they will be safe ha ha ha.
In an emergency try to get a lot of cops there fast – not so easy in a city twice the size of Santa Ana with the same size police dept.
Maybe prayers will keep us safe as we have lots of Churches in Anaheim.
Arte needs to pay into the city as does the resort industry.
That does not mean we hate the cursed Los Angeles Angels
That does not mean we hate Disneyland
Just they need honestly to pay more of their profits into the core city in which they live.
And the Anaheim Angels will win the world series again if all the players do not die or are injured before the name change???
That’s the point!!
We don’t know what transpired and the majority of the city council doesn’t know what transpired but they’re in favor of whatever transpired even though they don’t know what’s in the agreement, so what are they voting on?
End the Anaheim graft and corruption and Recall Shidu…
Where do I sign the recall petition.
Anaheim (Sidhu, Kring, Faessel, & O’Neil) city council elected are corrupt !!!
But it should have input from the people not done in private. Maybe everyone in Anaheim does not want to sponsor a sports team, we pay if they don’t.
Especially when they are making a ton of money.
And the negotiators took hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes from the Angels and everyone associated with them. Crooks do Crooked deals.
Anaheim also loses a ton of money to the Los Angeles Angels moniker. And during the game they show pictures of LA.
Meanwhile they are cursed with injuries and dying players. Curse of the Bambino.
Curse of the Los Angeles Angels
Pay the cash upfront $500 mil to invigorate the city pay off the bonds and help secure the $700 Million in retirement packages.
Eventually the Anaheim Angels will return with enough pressure from the players. I’m sure they do not like the continued injuries and deaths. LIFT THE CURSE.
*Sam the man, you have to remember….”Follow the cash”, Hey, these folks don’t need reason or common sense mixing in with legitimate business deals..eh? You have to realize when you look at any community in the country that has Sports Facilities with Corporate Names on them, that it is quite hopeless having “the citizens” actually having any say in much of anything to do with these Mega-Mad-Max dealings. Happy Holidays Sam….and keep trunking!
*One more thing: In other news Joe Burrows won the Heisman Trophy and it is totally well deserved. He left Ohio State because he was not being used..in favor of others. Guess what? Where is our man Jack Sears, the prior State Champ from San Clemente? Hopefully he will go someplace great too! Would love to see him go the SEC or even another team in the PAC-12!
Do what LA did in the Irsay for Rosenbloom trade: leave the teams ( in that case the Rams and the Colts) where they are and trade the owners. Adios, Arte!
Well actually from what I have read the deal is even worse than the 325 million price, with the development agreement that has yet to be written that price will be reduced by a yet to be determined number, plus the city will still be on the hook for a $525,000 yearly payment on a bond taken out to improve the stadium.
Dude. Get over it. Get a job, get a life and get real.
You have ZERO idea what transpired.
If you wake up to discover a large dog turd on your front porch you know exactly how it got there. A dog put it there.

*Arte….the man! Just get that deal done! Does any of it really matter as long as Mike Trout can still hit home runs? Keep the Angels in The OC!

It’s a great deal that comes with subsidies and tax breaks, how many people get that kind of deals with some kind of kickback. Just saying.
