Hi Julia Rosen,
Thanks for writing and keeping me in the loop. I am sure that you are a nice, well-meaning young lady. But, I don’t appreciate your using D. Trump as a bugbear to grub for cash by playing with people’s emotions instead of their logic. … I can’t imagine Bernie likes being attached to that stigma. You are better than that. Please refrain from this ploy. It is ugly and regressive.
And, please, save the history lessons. QUIT sending me crap about Republican problems. I can read all about it in the Weekly Standard…little Billy Kristol has all those answers. Republican Confederates have not won a national election since 1988 and they never will again. Look at the national polls. Bernie beats ANY of the so-called GOP candidates by a landslide in the national election. The African Americans and Hispanics, who haven’t already, will turn out for Bernie once they catch up with the facts. Any poll or honest pol (oxymoron) will tell you: The Dems have already WON the national election. It wouldn’t matter if they ran Martin O’Malley…or even Chris Christie in a DNR, er DNC vest. It is totally “safe” to make Bernie the first reasonable Dem choice since George McGovern and best choice since FDR. Almost as good as Citizen Nader. No opposition. No Republican.
UNLESS, the foolish, ignorant, misled, bamboozled Democrats involved in the primary process and those attending the convention put Hillary Clinton, a certified Republican, into office. Hillary is bad for America’s future, thus bad for women. So-called feminists who want ANY woman for president, not the BEST candidate (woman or not) are thinking with their uteruses (or penises) and not their brains. You should concentrate on informing them and reforming the GROSSLY UNdemocratic DNC. Put your efforts behind Bernie and a strategy on how to take away these phony, insider-trading super delegates from Anti-American, Goldwater-loving Republican Hillary. She has been politically unethical her entire LIFE, and not just while part of the insider club. Her record speaks for itself. She has NO stable, sustainable ethos on which to lead ANYONE with a modicum of intelligence, knowledge and integrity. NO decent person of erudition and certitude would EVER vote for her. The under-30s are too smart and concerned about the state of the state to turn out for Hillary. The few that would, will NOT do so with an fervor or conviction. They KNOW she is bad for their futures.
Steven Spielberg trusts Hillary. He also trusted Bernie Madoff with millions of his easily-earned capital. Wrong on trusting Hillary and entrusting the wrong Bernie.
Speaking of Spielberg’s hero, Abe Lincoln, isn’t it about time that authentic Americans come to grips with Lincoln’s folly? If you honestly want to ActBlue, get REAL. Begin a campaign to ENCOURAGE the Confederacy to secede, so that we real Americans can deal with getting actual America on an ethical track. Anyone who believes the Confederacy has EVER been part of the American Dream, is delusional. Look at how the so-called Southern Democrats voted in this year’s primaries. Ignorance rules. It should be NO surprise that Hillary and Donald carried the states with the lowest measured intelligence per capita. We here in California are constantly reminded by the LA Times of the inevitability of the Hillary brand…” just look at how South Carolina voted on Super Tuesday”. Is this a joke? We are going to be ruled by the wisdom found in South Carolina? Cut ’em loose. Free them from the federal noose. Clinton or Trump can Cruz to victory down there.
I wrote about this MOST important political issue a few years ago. It is still relevant Open your mind. Edify yourself: http://www.orangejuiceblog.com/2011/02/t-r-blackeyes-contrarian-presidents-day-post-taking-lincoln-to-the-woodshed/
I am happy to contribute what I can to the campaign of Mr. Sanders’ run for the White House. But, I will not contribute a single Lincoln head copper piece to any of your other funds until you start acting Blue yourselves. Grass roots candidates for Congress won’t have much positive effect if Clinton is elected. Funnel your resources into DUMPING Hillary AND the Confederacy so we can move on to a real democracy for America.
Sincerely,
The Reverend Black.
—– Original Message —–From: Julia Rosen, ActBlueTo: T RSent: Thursday, April 14, 2016 9:24 AMSubject: Grossly undemocratic
Dear T R, The last time there was a contested convention the winner walked away with the nomination all thanks to bribery.
Gerald Ford beat out Ronal Reagan in 1976 by offering up rides on Air Force One and tickets to state dinners in exchange for support.
It was legal when Ford won the nomination and it’s still legal today. That means Trump could pull out all the stops and start offering up stays at any one of his luxury hotels or rides on his private jet in exchange for delegates.
Republicans’ tactics will be grossly undemocratic, and huge portions of the Republican electorate are going to be angry no matter which way the convention goes.
That means we could have a chance to rally Democrats and take back seats in the House and the Senate. But those campaigns can’t pull off wins without small-dollar support. Democrats are counting on donors like you and on ActBlue’s tools to power them to victory this year. Will you chip in $3 a month?
Because you’ve saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Or donate another amount:
A contested convention would be total chaos. There’d be horse-trading of delegates, and dirty backroom deals, and politicos ignoring the wishes of their voter base to get what they want.
The wealthy GOP elite’s got plenty of collateral to offer up in exchange for the support they’ll need to knock Trump from the race. And they’ll be up against Trump’s billionaire status and the deals he could manage, setting the stage for a truly undemocratic, nasty fight.
If delegates are swayed from their candidate they’re not going to be representing the people who voted, and that’s not how a democracy works. No matter what happens, there are going to be huge portions of the Republican electorate who are outraged by the outcome of the convention.
Democrats could have a real chance to win races that wouldn’t be in play otherwise, but they won’t be able to take advantage of the opportunity without a huge outpouring of grassroots support.
Our platform makes it possible for Democrats to reach millions of small-dollar donors like you, but we can’t keep up that crucial work if we don’t have the resources to scale up our tools for every Democrat that’s counting on us. Will you chip in $3 a month?
Editor’s note: Mr. Black’s judgment on Hillary is a bit harsher than ours, as chances are Vern and Greg will have to pivot in a few months and support her over the Republican if only for the sake of the Supreme Court. Also we’re not entirely sure about that secession thing. But this is your weekend open thread, sound off on this that or anything within broad, broad, BROAD bounds of discretion and taste.
Well, “The Reverend Black” certainly makes the worst case for supporting Bernie that I’ve heard. His hyperbole and vitriol just makes his case for Bernie seem stupid and offensive.
Please stop, Bernie needs supporters who don’t alienate more people than they recruit.
Are you out of your friggin’ mind?
Thanks for the reminder about what IS actually vulgar and repulsive. I invite readers’ thoughts as to whether I should take out my exacto blade and circumcise the bigotry here.
News flash: WE DON’T CARE WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THE SEEMLINESS OF OUR FUNDRAISING FOR PROGRESSIVE CAUSES, WANKER.
I’ve seen pitches that go after Hillary and those that go after the GOP. I know Julia and she’s smart and wise enough to figure out how to achieve the best mix.
I’ll decide on whether I’ll vote for Hillary sometime after Indigenous Peoples’ Day. The only thing that will keep her from going full-out Nixon is for people to be prepared to walk. I’m not saying that they should; I’m saying keep her guessing.
As for the secession of the South — you know that they could reinstitute slavery, right? Among many less horrific but even more likely options. I think that we’d end up having a relationship that would make India and Pakistan look chummy by comparison — especially after they get their own nukes.
Excised that bit. Had to get something up quickly for WOT and skimmed thru it… usually we like TR.
A note to the Editor’s note: it seems that you’ve already pivoted…. anti-HRC posts don’t necessarily make a case for Bernie. Perhaps mayor Bao or the folks who organized the Bernie rally in Anaheim could be invited to present their opinions.
I disagree. She is a politician not an ideologue. She responds to change and has endured personal attacks for years. I feel Bernie is an opportunist who never belonged to the party. I like his ideas, but doubt his ability to accomplish anything at all. Politics is not a choice of the perfect but of the possible. Voters will pick a known over an unknown, which explains why Hillary has 2,500,000 more votes than Bernie.
That said, I will vote for Bernie if he gets the nod. I am dismayed that so many Nadirites will take their vote and go home if they don’t get their wacky, lovable, cranky geez as a choice.
So what was Kennedy thinking when he proposed sending a human to the moon? Higher education tuition free, a better health care system, taking big money out of politics, addressing climate change, accepting the Palestinians’ humanity are challenges that a politician can tackle if there is willingness to navigate the pragmatic waters.
^^^^ This. Ricardo for the block.
If they’re “Naderites,” they weren’t Democratic voters to begin with. It’s odd to slam them for their lack of brand loyalty.
Thanks for the ageism there at the end. It’s good to have someone celebrating that spring chicken Hillary here.
*You want to hear a funny joke: Scott Baugh is running against Dana in 2018. First they went after Mike Carona, then they went after Webster Gulliory and now Dana? The OCGOP needs to start going after Latino voters instead.
I am sure that Scott is not running against Dana. If it’s true that Scott is running, that’s because Crazy Dana is retiring. FINALLY. Promised us no more than three terms, did 15.
I’m gonna call him, I have his cell.
Trump/Sanders in 2016. What an awesome ticket that would make. Cruz, Clinton and their establishment cronies wouldn’t know whether to Sh%$# or go blind.
You forgot the part where a vote for anyone else is a vote for the status quo.
You’re slipping.
…and against the establishment.
I said a vote for Hillary was a vote for the status quo.
Never said a word about Bernie being part of the status quo.
You must have me mixed up with someone else.
In fact, I have stated that next to Trump that Bernie would be my 2nd choice.
The two on one ticket would be knock the socks off the establishment.
Anyone opposed to a Trump/Sanders ticket is status quo.
Aren’t you getting tired of being divided and conquered?
“Never said a word about Bernie being part of the status quo.”
Neither did I. That’s why I said what I said. You’ve made it painfully, redundantly clear that you think a vote for anyone but Trump or Sanders is a vote for the status quo.
So now that you mention being tired of something…
You’re a difficult person to dialogue with.
“Trump/Sanders in 2016.”
What a simpleton.
Guess Ziegfried figures that since they’re both “outsiders” they could be on the same ticket.
Uh news flash, Bernie has been in the US Congress for 26 years caucusing with the Dems. Bernie is an experienced politician, dumpf is spoiled, narcissistic, lying, TV reality show “star”. Hardly comparable and not remotely similar, other than the fact that they’re both white males.
And don’t you care about issues at all? Bernie and the dumpf are polar opposites on many issues, one of them being immigration.
Immigration being dumpf’s signature position.
Cue the “just kidding”.
It’s nice that this thought makes you happy, but it’s less likely than Trump/Loretta.
I don’t remember who said it but the statement went something like this: the Confederacy lost the Civil War and wielded a disproportionate political influence in the US ever since.
*The DZ – “It’s stranger than fiction” quote. Love ya man! OK, let’s put this together in a meaningful fashion. Bernie is a “mensch” of the first order. We love Bernie…..but Hillary will prevail, with all her warts, moles and unruly hand and arm movements. The Saudi First Family will embrace everyone “except Hillary”, which is a good thing! The 28 Pages of Saudi Conspiracy will wind up halting their war in Yemen and perhaps cause the downfall of their CIA based Kingdom! The world has finally reached a point – where the buck stops someplace else! Thanks DZ for the inspiration……to deal with the obtuse!
*OK, how about the NEW TRUMP Republican Rules Committee, coming at the July Convention? This will be jolly. “Voice Vote”….”The Ayes Have it!”, “Point of Order”, “Call the question!”, “Roll Call Vote!” – OK, that will be Day One! On Day Two, they can name the candidates running. Day Three, “Order a New Rules Committee”, Day Four, “Check everyone’s Credentials”. Day Five, “Clear the hall of all Media and Press”, Day Six, “Organize a Cigar Smoke in, in the Cloak Room”. Day Seven, “Order more Pizza!” Day Eight….”Everyone goes home without naming a Republican Candidate for President. Day Nine; “Everyone demands a recount!” Day Ten, Al Gore volunteers to be the Republican Candidate for President. Day Eleven: Newt Gingrich volunteers to be Al Gore’s VP, running mate! Day Twelve: Donald Trump declares victory and says he will do a “national write-in campaign” to be President. Day 13 – Hillary congratulates Trump on his commitment of $1 Billion dollars for the write-in campaign!
*Meanwhile, the only thing on TV in July will be Track and Field and the Olympics in Brazil. 15 stories about the Sika Virus and lots of video of Brazilian Bikini Life in Ipanema!
“…and best choice since FDR”
I almost forgot about this pearl. Yes, good ol’ FDR, the man who clung to institutionalized racism to keep the Southern Democrats in his coalition. The freedom fighter who turned back refugee ships full of European Jews and who the hero who locked up thousands of innocent Americans in desert concentration camps.
*No Fan of FDR…mind you, but really – what other US President served FOUR terms? There were sure a lot of ONE Termers: Carter, LBJ, Ford, Nixon (1 and half), Kennedy, George Bush “the Elder” and bunches before FDR. Finding he only had ONE long term affair and those four of five things you mention, not including a Global Depression and a World War – and sometimes you just have to give “The Devil his due!”
FDR may not have been perfect, but then what POTUS has been?
FDR still ranks as one of the best Presidents this nation has had. He saved this country and helped save the world.
And he “WELCOMED THE HATRED” of his age’s kleptocrats.
I wonder who Mr. Tippy Canoe fancies as a “good” POTUS?
Washington (slave owner)? Jefferson (slave owner)? Lincoln (Camp Douglas, Native American genocide)? Hopefully not the doddering Reagan ( Beirut, Iran Contra, deficits, scandals)?
I think that it was Grover Cleveland, right?
“Grover Cleveland”
Martin van Buren.
Martin Van Buren (Trail of Tears).
Indian Relocation Act 1830. Andrew Jackson (coincidentally another Dem slave owner).
Van Buren got stuck with the Cherokee tail end of that one.
Try harder (hat tip to Ryan Cantor.
Yes, it was a continuance of Jackson’s policy, a policy that Van Buren supported and continued. Van Buren became POTUS in 1837, the Trail of Tears took place in 1838-39.
Van Buren was also a slave owner (although not while POTUS).
You need to “try harder”.
Oh, and comparing the Dems of 1830 to today’s Dems might fool the rubes, but everyone with half a brain cell knows which party and which ideology currently allies itself with racism and racist policies.
It’s very telling Tippy, that you would try and smear Democrats, it’s called blame shifting. Guilty much?
Your Whig is falling off. And please close that kimono. It’s just gross.
Oh snap, what a comeback, so pithy and pointed.
Ouch!
Yeah, sure. Whatever you say.
Is cynicism all you’ve got Tippy?
Mext you’ll be bragging to us about Saint Woodrow – who saved us from the Negro, the Hun and the commies!
No, I’m just a realist. I weigh the good with the bad and try and understand and judge people by their times.
Yes, sure. A realist. I see that now.
*”Play it cool with Cal”….Calvin Coolidge that is! His wife was the most
beautiful of all first ladies in history. A sharp dresser too. Then of course the Teddy Bear himself…..Theodore Roosevelt, the cousin of Elenor and Frankin. ” Up San Juan Hill…..Charge!”
Yep, that’s the one. And despite all that, too.
Just heard (hat-tip Naui) – “Gil Scott-Heron, the poet and recording artist whose syncopated spoken style and mordant critiques of politics, racism and mass media in pieces like “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised” made him a notable voice of black protest culture in the 1970s and an important early influence on hip-hop, died on Friday at a hospital in Manhattan. He was 62 and had been a longtime resident of Harlem…”

Well, you know that means we need to listen to this classic again, by Tony Bushala’s favorite artist:
Not to mention
and
Vern, Gil Scott-Herron died FIVE YEARS AGO.
I don’t expect Vern to read every comment, especially as his blog’s workload has increased lately ( also it could be the Moxley’s curse…)
Posted March 21, 2016 at 9:48 PM
Bernie’s Political Revolution is not being covered…in Anaheim…after all, as the late Gil Scott-Heron said, the revolution will not be televised…..
Shit. Okay, still good to remember him. Some of my facebook friends think it just happened.
*Chairman Vern, “The Revolution will not be televised!” What a real memory blaster that was……thanks dude!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsZFiMo8TIc
*Another great memorial…..to music!
This site has devolved into the 2016 version of Red County. Utter bullshit.
Overly edited and a fourm for friendlies.
*Yoah…Momma! How do you get into our rec’ room anyway?
I don’t censor comments like that.
Greg may, when I’m not paying attention.
Hordes, should I delete this anonymous attack?
(Seriously, why make this anonymous? Worse things are said about us daily!)
You wouldn’t remember Red County. That was a general Republican bs site run by MATT CUNNINGHAM and some friendly financial crook called Chip.
BIGTIME insult.
The hell I wouldn’t remember it.
I know that that was an insult. I don’t much mind insults. I mind anonymous insults — because they cost their authors nothing, even in reputation. They’re the supercharger on the race to the bottom. To my way of thinking, their authors are not rights-holding people. If they are not abusing their permission to be here, they’re welcome; if they are, then their wimpy authors deserve no consideration.
Sure seems relevant to some malicious screed sent my way over the weekend. Nicely put.
Did I miss that? Sorry you had to go through it, whatever it was.
Anybody read about the 28 page intel report that ties the Saudis to 911? Naturally, Obama is opposed to declassifying it and letting the public know the truth.
Most people with working brain cells sort of deduced that the Saudis were in on it. Jeez, 15 or the 19 911 terrorists were Saudi passport carrying citizens. And Bush flew Bin Laden’s relatives out of the US when all US flights were grounded after the attack. Saudi royalty were providing financial support to some of the 911 attackers who lived in San Diego.
Now Saudi is claiming that if the US takes action against their country based on the intel that it will sell $750B of US securities on the free market. lol. I guess they aren’t smart enough to realize that any such action would result in instant death to the Saudi economy. lol. Those swine don’t have the gonads to launch a suicide attack.
If there’s no Saudi-911 connection what are the Saudis worried about?
So we attacked Iraq based on Bush’s 911 and mushroom cloud lies – and when we find the real culprits Obama wants to cover it up? Then Obama and Hillary arranged for the illegal military attacks on Libya and Syria. And Saudi gets a pass?
Over 3000 non-military innocent citizens were murdered on NYC on Sept 11, 2001
If the Saudi-911 connection is real we should bomb Saudi back into the stone age.
And any US pol who knew there was evidence of a Saudi-911 link and covered it up should be pounding rocks for the rest of his/her life.
Screw the Haus of Saud.
Look what we did to Afghanistan claiming that was the training grounds for Al-Queda terrorists. We invaded their country 15 years ago and never left.
And now there’s apparent evidence in the 28 page intel report that links the Saudi government to the 911 WTC attacks and all these pseudo-patriots in Congress (both dems and pubs) are standing around with the hands in their pockets while Obama attempts to cover up the facts and hide the truth from the people? Wow. My heart goes out to all the family members of those 911 victims. You’ve been betrayed by the highest offices in the land!!!
*What….a real conspiracy? We always thought that Madeline Albright and Henry Kissenger were the same man! Richard Holbrooke too!
If there’s nothing to hide why not just declassify the 28 page intel report for all to read?
And why is Obama protecting the Saudis as opposed to protecting the interests of the families of the 911 victims?
I thought Obama was going to be the transparent President?
Oh whoops. He lied about that too!
It’s diplomacy, because we’re still hooked on what they’re dealing.
If you’re going to complain about Saudi Arabia, you had better be a fan of non-fossil fuels.
Obama is not just protecting the Saudi’s, but also Bush, Cheney and other american “patriots”.
I’m wondering if the Republicans are on board with this in the hopes that the Saudis will retaliate economically. A tanking economy will reflect badly on Obama no matter who’s responsible. The Republicans don’t give a damn what happens to the american people as long as they get power. They’ve been trying to sabotage the economy for the last 7 years and they’re getting desperate.
Why not try kicking a hornet’s nest?
Fair point. I could imagine the Saudis doing it to block Sanders. I don’t think that they’d do it to block Clinton. (Why bother?)
Saudi doesn’t have a corner on global oil production any longer. There are a multitude of reliable nations that produce oil and could supply us with whatever amounts we need. America has increased our own oil production significantly in the last decade. The ME oil cartel of the 70’s-80’s has gone by the wayside. In fact, the recent cartel talks just collapsed and a barrel of oil fell by 7% overnight.
Your claim that America would be forced to resort to non-fossil fuels w/o Saudi oil doesn’t jive with reality. Saudi doesn’t control the international oil market any longer.
If there’s evidence that the Saudi government conspired in the 911 attacks – that murdered 3000 innocent US civilians and caused billions in property damage – there should be severe repercussions. Those families that lost loved ones or were damaged financially as a result of those attacks should have the right to recover damages from the Haus of Saud – if the evidence supports a link.
Declassify the 28 page intel report and let the chips fall where they may.
The American people have a right to the truth on such an important matter.
We don’t import Saudi oil as it is. This is all about price.
“A tanking economy will reflect badly on Obama no matter who’s responsible.”
What’s more important? Avenging the deaths of 3000 innocent US civilians and billions of property damage or Obama’s reputation? From Obama and his cronies perspectives of course it would be Obama’s reputation. But real Americans would want to hold those accountable who murdered 3000 of our fellow citizens and perpetrated an act of war on our country.
Which side are you on?
Oh, and it’s a dem POTUS who doubled the national debt in the last 7 years and never saw a bloated budget that he didn’t love. Every single year of his presidency Obama has managed to run a huge spending deficit. Obama specializes in obliterating debt ceilings. He doesn’t even bat an eyelash at spending several million on a Hawiaan vacation. His wife spends money on personal travel like a drunken Russian sailor on shore leave.
You’re grossly underestimating the impact Saudi Arabia has on hydrocarbon prices, Z.
“Rats Foiled Again….” said Oil Can Harry. “Here I am to save the day…Mighty Mouse is on the way!” As Pearl Pureheart would say: “SAVE ME!”
OK, time to go into the FULL MONTY on the Saudi’s and 911. The American Compound in Ryad had been bombed. Several Americans, including some military advisors and CIA…..were killed, along with some family members. The Saudi’s had set it up by paying off Al-Quida folks and pals of Osama Bin Laden’s family. It get deep now, so bear with us: The American Financial Empire was about to collapse and George and Laura had even given $600 bucks back to every man and woman and family that paid taxes….in order to stimulate the economy. We really needed a Bill Clinton “Wag the Dog” moment, like they put together in Yugoslavia. Something to stimulate the Global economy. The brain trust at the CIA, George “the Elder’s) former job, came up with a terrorist attack on NYC – the World Trade Center. The deals were made and we guaranteed that all the Saudi family members would have save passage – out of Dodge!
OK…..you figure out the rest, our imaginations have run wild enough. OK – happy now Ziggy? But then, what would Donald Trump say?
“What’s more important? Avenging the deaths of 3000 innocent US civilians… ”
We DID avenge those deaths or are you forgetting our glorious wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. How much bloodshed does it take for you warmongering idiots to feel satisfied?
We have KNOWN about the Saudis involvement in 9-11, 15 out of the 19 hijackers were Saudis and oh yeah, Bush sent a special plane all over the country to escort Saudi’s out of the country on 9-11.
This mess was Bush’s and the Republican’s to deal with, why weren’t there endless hearings and congressional investigations into the Saudi connection?
Because it’s a big can of worms, if we go after the Saudi’s terrorist activities then other countries will go after ours. And the good ol’ USA is up to our necks in dirty deeds. Americans should be careful what we wish for, cuz there could be lots of blowback.
************************
Tax cuts, two wars and a huge recession, were Bush and the Republican’s debt legacy, and they’re the “gift” that keeps on giving.
Not raising taxes during war time was an historical first, Bush’s folly was strategically backloaded to dump on the next POTUS.
Bush’s policies cost about 5 times what Obama’s policies have.
And Obama’s policies have created value (jobs and healthcare) and Bush’s greatly reduced value for any dollars spent (unnecessary, wasteful war and tax cuts for the wealthy=inequality).
Oh and FYI:
…”President Obama, like President Clinton before him, has seen the federal budget deficit fall by record numbers.
According to a new report from the Wall Street Journal’s Market Watch site, the federal government ran up a deficit of $439 billion for the 2015 fiscal year. That’s 2.5 percent of GDP, which is the lowest level since 2007.”…
“Not insignificantly, though, the Obama administration’s deficit reduction has slowed the growth of the debt. In fact, the year-over-year increase in the debt has slowed to 10 percent. Compare that with the highest growth rate for the debt ever — 13.4 percent per year under, yes, Ronald Reagan.”….
…”Nearly every bill signed by the president has included offsets to make the spending deficit neutral. Why? Because it’s been the law of the land ever since President Obama signed the Statutory Pay-As-You-Go Act in February 2010, which mandates that new spending be offset with spending cuts or new revenue. Yes, a Democratic president and a Democratic Congress passed this legislation. Guess how many congressional Republicans voted for the law. Zero. Not one.”…
“Consequently, the president is responsible for the lowest government spending growth in 60 years.”
http://www.salon.com/2015/10/16/the_gops_entire_identity_is_based_on_a_lie_how_the_obama_presidency_exposed_republican_deficit_delusions/
The next logical steps would be to declassify the 28 page intel report and do a full investigation on possible links between Saudi and 911. Obama opposes both of these actions. His plan is to protect the Muslim brotherhood billionaires as opposed to the families of the fallen 911 victims.
If there’s no solid evidence of Saudi government involvement – walk away.
If there is solid evidence of Saudi government involvement in the mass murder of 3000 US civilians – make Saudi our 51st state.
Well, this is another huge Bush turd left on Obama’s doorstep.
I personally can’t stand the Saudi’s, but I prefer it when Obama kicks them in a useful way like the Iran nuclear deal. I fear the Republicans forcing a “crisis” for political purposes, either economic or militarily.
We can whip up the warmongering in a flash.
‘Cuz hey, what’s another middle eastern war between ex-friends?
*Good Grief, we can’t take it…..we agree again with “the anonster” Well done! “May the wind be at your back and the sun shining on your face!” – that’s what the old sailors say!
I got your live interviewer poll this evening, Philip Chen! You are definitely getting your money’s worth, presuming that you paid in Zimbabwean currency. You shouldn’t blame the pollster, but you should definitely fire whoever hired the pollster.
