This is an encouraging step to address one of the serious problems in our city. I hope that the new APD leadership will listen to these ladies and Alex.
Ricardo. I have faith in the residents of Anaheim. They are becoming more organized and more focused. They need to avoid all mob mentality though and focus on their network of educated activists. Encourage those that support dedication to the cause and those that understand the media manipulation for or against them.
At the very least there are serious legal ramifications for allowing the continued contact between potential defendants (Kelly Phillips has not yet been cleared by the DA) and witnesses. Not to mention contact between a hostile City funded resource and a known litigant (civil suit). Why has the City Attorney not reduced taxpayer exposure to liability?
Digging into this I have found a number of policy and procedure issues that are shaky at best, and an invitation to disaster and continued lawsuits. And that is just the stuff we can SEE because clicking on “Policy Manual” at the APD website shows a link under construction. I have been promised a copy of their P and P manual via PRA request and will report later.
Recent reports of ugly behavior from APD staff are now met by their official spokesperson with “there is no official policy preventing it”….so much for professionalism. Yeah, it is time to say ENOUGH!
That is one very interesting point, Cynthia.
They need to get rid of all the gang filth at any cost. Be a better parent and don’t let your kids fall into the wrong crowd so you don’t have to bury them before they end up working at Taco Bell.
Wait a second. You’re not really Jesus are you.
Nah: he/she/they/it has a “christ.com” email address; everyone knows that it should be christ.org or christ.net. (Or, if you’re MAGA, christ.us.)
