This is sad, really… very sad.

Almost as sad as all this (from White People Mourning Romney)

Oh and then:

The Romney campaign lost no time shutting off the money faucet. Too bad his employees had not gotten done with the election night business before he did so.

Aides taking cabs home late that night got rude awakenings when they found the credit cards linked to the campaign no longer worked.

We would have been on our own at about 1p.m. Eastern time January 21, 2013 as well.

Except for not being a few handfuls of underpaid over worked interns we would have been in the same boat at that time. I could picture him selling off our national treasures at fire sale prices. And doing everything possible to exploit the riches the people of America have built over generations to the highest bidder.

Look what he did to the loyal workers that stayed with him past the end to make sure everything was put into order.

Charles P. Pierce at Esquire says this:

Classic.They’re all lucky they’re not working in China now.

We dodged a bullet, my fellow Americans!

But I love you all.  And I know we’re now at the tipping point of the Republican Party re-inventing itself so that we can have a real second party for the 21st century.  A fiscally responsible, small government party minus the HATE, PRUDISHNESS, and JINGOISM.  In that spirit, I invite all of y’all to the “Election Is Over, Let’s All Get Along Piano Concert – Sunday at 4, Huntington Beach Central Library!
