Adiós cabrón! Russell Pearce Recalled in Arizona!

Last night, in a historic recall election in Arizona, top Republican State Senator Russel Pearce (seen pictured on the right next to a neo-Nazi, how quaint!) was voted out of office. The legislator was the architect of the hateful and loathsome anti-immigrant legislation SB 1070. Unrepentant, Pearce says he is proud of his record, even though the majority of voters clearly were not, and that he will spend time with family and his God after having lost to Republican Jerry Lewis.

In other ‘Hate State’ news…

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer, another elected official in need of ousting, will be making an appearance at the Barnes and Noble in Irvine tonight at 7 p.m.*   She’ll be signing copies of her book Scorpions for Breakfast, My Fight Against Special Interests, Liberal Media and Cynical Politicos to Secure America’s Border for all her hate filled minions in OC – and there’s sure to be more than a few. There was little advance notice of her appearance, so if there will be a protest tonight at 7 p.m., it will be hastily organized, but it will also be righteous!

Hey, Governor Bruja, keep on eating ‘Scorpions for Breakfast.’ I’ll be keeping warm on these chilly mornings with a bowl of menudo instead!

*ED Correction:  The Bruja appearance already happened, LAST night (Tuesday night) with evidently not enough publicity for either fans or protestors to appear.  A Liberal OC commenter reports:

I was here when the signing happened. But no protest happened nor was it necessary, there were more security guards than people lined to get a book prized. The reason there was no hubbub is that most of the Irvine occupiers were busy with their city council review, an event prescheduled and more important.

The governer was scheduled to he here 1 45 minutes Longer than her hohum affair, but all but packed up seeing how no one apart from 5 or so people were buying her lies and drivel. There could have been an issue, but doubt it. I was in the bathroom for a brief moment and she had gone when I returned.
