The main branch of the Fullerton Public Library will play host yet again for another lecture in a once-per-month series cooked up by the OC Weekly’s Gustavo Arellano and The Chicano/a Studies Department of CSUF. Last month, things got off to a lively start with a reading and discussion of scenes from the Mexican OC by Breath of Fire. This time around Jaime Hernandez, one-half of the brotherly duo behind the comic book series “Love and Rockets,” will be joining Arellano and all who attend for conversation based on his artistic work. A coffee table book by Hernandez will be available for purchase at ten dollars below retail value – with a portion of the proceeds going to support the Fullerton Public Library. For all the nerds, this will be his sole appearance before ComicCon.

Where: Fullerton Public Library, 353 W. Commonwealth Ave., Fullerton, (714) 738-6333

When: Feb. 24th / 6:30 p.m.

Show up in droves! With all this Chicano chicanery happening in Fullerton, Herman “Klansman” Hiltscher will be rolling in his grave!
