Loretta Sanchez drives a clunker in Spanish language TV ad

Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez just released a very strange video, in Spanish.  It starts out with her driving what looks like a real clunker, going Lord knows where.

Then all of a sudden she is blabbing in front of a fruity Mai Tai looking drink.

Then she says, in the narrative, that her dad used to tell her that it doesn’t matter what work you do but rather how much effort you put into it.  Considering the fact that Sanchez has only seen one of her proposed bills become a law, and it had to do with naming a post office, I can see why she might talk about how the actual work you do doesn’t matter.

Then she talks about how she has always talked to her community, but the images that accompany that part of the video are of Asians!  How weird is that?  She follows that up by saying that her voice is independent.

She closes by saying that she will always do the best for our families and she will work for everyone, except presumably for those wily Vietnamese who are “trying to take her district.”

Does Sanchez really expect us to believe that she drives a clunker?  Really?

Check out the video below.  Independent Congressional candidate Cecilia Iglesias speaks much better Spanish than Sanchez, and she appears sincere, where Sanchez looks and sounds like an airhead.  I love that Iglesias talks about how our politicians are disconnected from us…
