JEFFREY LALLOWAY FILES FOR IRVINE CITY COUNCIL
LEADS ALL OTHERS IN FUND RAISING AND CASH ON HAND
Irvine…Irvine Finance Commissioner Jeffrey Lalloway has completed his filing for Irvine City Council. Lalloway, accompanied by former Irvine Mayor Bill Vardoulis, submitted 30 signatures and a 200 word ballot statement to the City Clerk.
Lalloway also released his campaign finance report, which showed he had $72,517 cash on hand. By contrast, the incumbent Councilman Larry Agran had only $575.31 on hand as of the June 30, 2010 close of filing and a $100,000 personal debt from his campaign two years ago.
“I am gratified by the support we are receiving across the city” said Lalloway. “With three months to go until Election Day, we are ready to begin the next phase of this campaign.”
Jeffrey Lalloway has been endorsed by Congressman John Campbell, State Board of Equalization Member Michele Steel, Councilwoman Christina Shea, Councilman Steven Choi, former Mayor Bill Vardoulis, former Mayor Mike Ward, the Lincoln Club of Orange County and hundreds of Irvine residents and business owners.
Lalloway, 48, and his wife Laura are the proud parents of a six year old in first grade and a preschool two year old. Jeffrey Lalloway is a family law practitioner.

Jeff is a great candidate, a prolific fundraiser, and a policy wonk. Fundraising is difficult to do in Irvine because they have such a small contribution limit. I don’t live in Irvine but I support Jeff with my pocketbook and will with my shoe leather because the Agran machine extends well beyond the borders of Irvine and I want to see that guy stopped once and for all.
