HUGH NGUYEN FOR ORANGE COUNTY CLERK RECORDER ENDORSED BY THE CALIFORNIA REPUBLICAN ASSEMBLY

Santa Ana (CA)—Former Chief Deputy Recorder Hugh Nguyen, and candidate for Orange County Clerk-Recorder, announced today that he has received the endorsement of the California Republican Assembly (CRA).

“I am deeply grateful and thankful that the CRA has endorsed me for Clerk-Recorder,” said Nguyen. “The CRA is the oldest Republican volunteer organization in California and I am proud to have won their support.”

Called the conscience of the Republican Party by President Ronald Reagan, the CRA was chartered in 1934. It is the oldest and largest Republican volunteer organization, working to elect Republican candidates who stand unwaveringly for Republican principles.

In addition to the CRA, Nguyen has been endorsed by Orange County Republican Party Chairman Scott Baugh, South Orange County Community College District Trustee Tom Fuentes, Congressmen Dana Rohrabacher and John Campbell, State Senators Mimi Walters, Bob Huff, Dick Ackerman (ret.), Marian Bergeson (ret.), Orange County Supervisor Pat Bates, Assemblywoman Diane Harkey, ATLAS Pac, Orange County Managers Association and dozens of local elected officials.

About Zorro

Yes, Zorro is gay. Zorro is gay in San Francisco, black in South Africa, an Asian in Europe, a Chicano in San Ysidro, an anarchist in Spain, a Palestinian in Israel, a Mayan Indian in the streets of San Cristobal, a Jew in Germany, a Gypsy in Poland, a Mohawk in Quebec, a pacifist in Bosnia, a single woman on the Metro at 10pm, a peasant without land, a gang member in Santa Ana, an unemployed worker, an unhappy student and, of course, a good government advocate in Anaheim. Zorro is all the exploited, marginalized, oppressed minorities resisting and saying `Enough'. He or she is every minority who is now beginning to speak and every majority that must shut up and listen. He or she is every untolerated group searching for a way to speak. Everything that makes power and the good consciences of those in power uncomfortable -- this is Zorro.
