Who said that our state legislature cannot work together to get things done?
They just tackled a major problem in approving Concurrent Resolution 112. What is it you might ask? A week of “no cussin.” That’s correct. No four letter words or you must kick in some coin to a collection jar.
The first week in March was selected to address this major issue when they cannot fix our lingering budget problems. I did not dream this up. Simply go to the SacBee link below for details.

Gilbert note. While our legislators should not resort to four letter words in conducting the people’s business, was this Resolution truly necessary?
The second question, who is enforsing it? Has there been an outbreak of 4 letter words in Sacramento, how much did the study cost that told them this was needed to spend time on?
F*ck This!
They have cut funding to special needs programs and education, they are releasing convicts early, and what was that other important thing they did… oh yeah, no cussing.
On the bright side my two year old will be running for a seat in the next election, he’s great a leaving things a mess too.
WTF.
This is a good illustration of why we need a part time legislature. Apparently they have too much time on their hands.
