Obama, Sanchez backing forced unionization

With Obama’s forced unionization bill (“card check”)  in jeopardy,  Obama is now attempting to ram forced unionization through by executive fiat. Loretta Sanchez sponsored the bill eliminating the secret ballot in union certification elections by sponsoring the (so-called) “Employee Free Choice Act” – freeing unions to coerce and intimidate workers.  (Even other labor unions have charged the SEIU with intimidation, including targeting immigrants.)  Obama hopes to push his radical forced unionization agenda through appointment of a radical SEIU labor lawyer to the NLRB (National Labor Relations Board).

Obama has (re)nominated the SEIU’s radical lawyer Craig Becker, who called called secret ballot elections “profoundly undemocratic” and favors mandatory unionization of all workers, saying “workers should not be able to choose against having a union as their monopoly-bargaining agent”.  Becker enjoys the ringing endorsement of ACORN founder Wayne Rathke. Rathke is enthusiastic about Becker’s past work  – forced unionization of private workers (“non-employee state employees”) into public employee unions (in order to fund SEIU politics through forced dues).

The radical SEIU’s forced unionization agenda is far left of mainstream America.  Private sector unionization dropped 10 percent last year.  Yet overall unionization fell only slightly (from 12.4 percent to 12.3 percent) due to the growth of the same public employee unions who are bankrupting California.  Clearly, private workers reject the SEIU’s forced unionization agenda.  Yet, Obama and Loretta Sanchez don’t care.  (Sanchez, intoxicated by Obamamania, apparently thought it safe to abandon her “blue dog” reputation and unmask herself as a radical leftist.)  For these leftist radicals, workers don’t deserve free choice, democracy, or secret ballot elections, free from union coercion.  When it comes to workers, Obama, Sanchez, and their SEIU/ACORN allies are clearly not “pro choice”.
