The Democratic Party of Orange County (DPOC) hasn’t always been very supportive of State Senator Lou Correa, but perhaps they have learned from their mistakes. Below is their announcement regarding the fundriaser they are holding for Correa on Jan. 22, at the Center Club:
As the only Democrat serving in the State Senate from Orange County, State Senator Lou Correa has been on the front-line fighting for his constituents.
Senator Correa has served the citizens of Orange County as an Assemblymember, a County Supervisor and Senator. With a tireless work ethic, and a great commitment to the people, Senator Correa has consistently fought and won for Orange County.
Please join the Democratic Foundation of Orange County for a luncheon in honor of Senator Lou Correa.

Center Club? Live like a king if you can I guess! Too bad 99.9% of the people in Lou’s district will never be able to get into a place even half as fancy as the Center Club! Lo Siento Mucho los Pobres!!Salado!
Senator Correa Did Not Honor his word of” Not to increase TAXES”!!!!!.WHAT A JOKE!
Lou claims he never lived outside his district. He may be right but he lives behind secured gates! Is he afraid of his own constituents?
Henry V. is doing a great job at the DPOC. He is paying attention to details and doing a great job working with all the Candidates and Clubs.

Plenty of people live in gated communities. In fact, just across the street from the Correa Manor sits two or three apartment complexes and yes they are gated as well.
Freedom:
Taxes aren’t bad as long as it’s for some essential service. I would rather pay a tax and pay for what needed now than pay a tax for some bond’s interst payment that people voted on.
We don’t have an endless trough of money but unfortunately Correa thought we did when he authored the bill that allowed for the public safety pension explosion. This is Correa’s time bomb and our future generations will hurt because they will pay for it.
Hey Joe 6-pack. There is a big difference between gated low income aparments and homes valued at $400,000.
Just wondering if anyone of you can read. Since the Democratic Foundation and not the DPOC is hosting the event. The DPOC just sent out an email about the event and put it on the website.
#7,
Thanks. Guess that figures.
