Well, it’s over for Linda Ackerman in the Special Election to replace Mike Duval in the 72nd Assembly District. With absentee voters counted she fell to third place, behind Democrat John MacMurray. Ackerman only got 20% of the vote. Click here for election results.
Kudos to Jane Rands! She is kicking some tail with almost 1,000 votes – and only 1,006 Greens are registered in the district.
Congratulations to Supervisor Chris Norby! This might go to a run-off, but he has this in the bag.

I wonder how quickly Ackerman will move back to Irvine?

As I look down from above–virtue and truth does triumph. Now maybe DICK can work more on his firefighting skills and developing his next plot for photo opps with the Gov. Linda can also get the next face lift she needs.
Dear James, Linda’s work was done mostly through Botox with a slight nip and tuck but it was not plastic surgery per say.
The mailer that Linda Ackerman sent to my home was the most offensive example of smear campaign tactics I’ve ever seen. No one deserved to lose this election more than she. Let’s hope she will go crawl back under the rock she came from and never show her face again.
