Good news Orange Juice readers! Our blogger Vern Nelson is back at last! He has been submitting a few posts of late via a friend, but he is now back in our midst and we are going to welcome him back on Thursday evening, at the Memphis Restaurant in downtown Santa Ana, at 7:30 pm.
That is of course the same evening that the blue guys in town get together for their Drinking Liberally get-together. Since Vern is a Dem too, I think that will work out just fine. In fact, I hope to see a lot of our Orange Juice readers on Thursday evening.
Vern brings so much to this blog. He is a much better writer than I am – and he is a world-class pianist too. While I am a Libertarian, and Vern and I agree on a lot of things, he is a classic, unabashed liberal. He is the oil to Terry Crowley’s water!
The Memphis is located in the Santora Building, at 201 North Broadway, just south of 3rd St. There is a parking structure nearby, on Third St. Bring an appetite – the Memphis has great food and a fun atmosphere…

Anonster, thanks for the pat on the back. Vern is the most committed of the liberal voices around OJ. I just look like a lefty compared to all the nutters toting water for Rushbo’s GOP. 80% of us look like we are on the left of all THAT NONSENSE!

As an aside: Did you see that there are a group of religious X-tian taliban trying to edit the bible so that it is more conservative? They think it is too soft and fuzzy. Hey, I thought that group claimed that the bible was THE WORD OF GOD??! So they trying to prove that humans are really the writers of all that? God, I am SOOOOOOO glad they are currently out of power – being left to cannibalize their own crazy stuff without the rest of us in tow.

It was a joke!. Its a Irish thing, we like to slag alottttttt. It’s a inside joke.
Here is a wee bit of history for you. Most of the cops were Irish. We also have a long history of being Firefighters and Union activists in this country. Did Irish men fight aganist corrupt Irish men, you bet!. We are a culture that does not like snakes, even are own snakes.
Mick is a male thing, not really mean’t for Irish girls. I can give you a few name’s to call me if you would like?.
