Lost in the brouhaha over his wife’s sudden carpetbagging political ambitions in the 72nd State Assembly special election is the curious fact that Dick Ackerman is very likely going to be a resident soon of the 4th Supervisorial District.
We’re not real sure yet where the Ackermans have decided to take up their faux residence, but chances are pretty good it will be back in Dick’s old happy hunting grounds, surrounded by the love of all his old Fullerton Rotarian pals. And if he does “move” to Fullerton he would be able to throw his hat in the ring for termed-out Supervisor Chris Noby’s job.

These carpetbagging, nepotistic types are ruining our cities and counties. Just look at the carpetbagger, City Council Member Andrew Do, he lives in Santa Ana, works for County Supervisor Janet Nguyen and appoints Janet’s husband to the Planning Commission.

DICK Ackerman is a self centered and very duplicitous carpetbagger. Once again I remind you of DICK’s performance during the Foothill fire that almost consumed my home.
While Todd Spitzer was breathing ash and smoke in my front yard, DICK Ackerman was NOWHERE to be found. While Spitzer pounded the Governor for resources DICK Ackerman was quaffing down drinks and food with the special interests in Sacramento.
However when the Gov. showed up four days later–there was DICK Ackerman for the photo opportunity. When questioned about his absence Ackerman chose to ignor the question. He had no valid answer I guess!!!
DICK Ackerman’s days on the public payroll/ward of the state should be over–permanently.
Hey Garden Grove City Councilman Andrew Do why don’t you move to Garden Grove? Couldn’t you get elected in your own city of Santa Ana? Changing your voter registration to a place in Garden Grove does not qualify as residency. You pay property taxes in Santa Ana and your wife and kids live in Santa Ana.
