I caught Matt “Jerbal” Cunningham touting his boy John Campbell again on the Red County blog today. This time Jerbal was praising Campbell for opposing the Obama health care plan.
I agree that Obama Care blows, but why won’t Jerbal tell his readers that Campbell voted to blow $700 million this month on wild horses that are not native to this country?
I challenged Jerbal on this and he actually allowed the comment to post – then he asked me what I knew about the bill. Tell you what Matt, I know that Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez didn’t vote for it! Even she knew better than to throw away so much money when so many Americans are going hungry thanks to the Bush Depression.
Who cares what Campbell has to say about health care? I want to know why he cares more about the well-being of a bunch of flea-bitten horses than the well-being of his fellow Americans! Then again, what would you expect from a Republican car dealer?
God help Campbell if a Libertarian files to run against him and Democratic candidate Beth Krom. Campbell will be burnt toast!

The whole clip is fun, with the guy trying to interview the birthers, as they run away or look at pencils for 20 minutes in a store to avoid contact, and and old guy quickly jogs up steep concrete stairs “rocky” style! Stay tuned for the last guy. He’s very refreshing for the Republican party, and he gives me hope that the Republicans DO have some normal people still left in the party who can think and put forth an argument.

Lost in this whole arguement, is how a man like John Campbell could work his way into Congress.
His Bio states he is a UCLA/USC graduate (what morals?) that he spent thirty years working as a car dealer (salesman??)BUT, most telling that he has been involved in politics, I mean elected office for few than ten years (elected to CA> State senate in 2000).
If this is not the profile of an upward moble self appreciating individual, I don’t know what is.
I could go on, but at the end of the day, this is a guy who staked his career on cheating consumers on auto loans and training/advising THOUSANDS of salesmen how to do it.
