UPDATE: Matt Coker has piled on poor Jerbal over at the OC Weekly. Click here to read his post.
John and Ken, the popular tax-fighting duo on KFI AM Talk Radio, tore into the Red County blog today – and it wasn’t pretty. Click here to hear the complete audio of the Red County bashing segment.
You may recall that John and Ken tore Matt “Jerbal” Cunningham, the Red County editor, a new one last year when he outed the names of molestation victims on the ill-fated “Urell Amigos” website.
What set them off was a Red County article by GOP Assemblyman Paul Cook, who wrote that “Prop 1A allows voters to either place a spending limit in the state constitution by voting yes or to reduce the tax increase from four years to two years through a no vote.” How disingenuous! Prop. 1A raises your taxes, no matter how you vote for it!
Here are just a few of the things John and Ken had to say about Red County today:
- This RedCounty.com website seems to be filled with all kinds of Republican political hacks, who publish propaganda and lies and B.S.
- I’m sure they have a readership in the dozens.
- What they’re trying to do is start some kind of groundswell against us, because we caught their bosses.
- A lot of staff-holes and spokes-holes write on this blog, and sometimes the Assembly-holes write on the blog.
- This is a Kool-Aid drinker website! These are guys who don’t care about how you have been screwed by the tax increase and by the Republicans. Their just trying to defend their tribe.
I have been saying all of this for a long time. It is nice to hear the message validated by one of the top radio talk shows in the nation.
John and Ken also provided the information below so we can let Paul Cook know how we feel about what he and his fellow Assembly GOP hacks did by putting Prop. 1A on the ballot:
Call Assemblyman Paul Cook and tell him he’s an idiot for thinking Prop 1A won’t raise taxes!

LOL. Sean will not approve of you whining about what is written on a blog.
#1,
Oh, I think Sean will be tickled by this story. It is great to see folks waking up to the hackery that is Red County.
Rummer has it, Jerbal’s so far up Lewis’ b – – t, he’s lost and there’s no way out, and most likely we won’t be hearing from him again. Thank God.
Art, the wide eyed jerbal (above) is too funny, I can’t stop laughing…OC’s Red County’s a laughing stock to anyone with principles.
John and Ken mentioned that Red County probably has about a 12 person readership, hum:
1. Jerbie himself
2. Chris (get out while you can) Emami
3. John “Jack” Lewis
4. Jerbies brother-n-law
5. Matt “Holdem” High
6. Tommy Recording Daly
7. Chris “Lewis’ B” Jones
8. Carona Lite
9. Ruby “I Got The” Goods
10. X Mr. pump himself
11. Jerbals dog (pobrecito)
12. The rest of the D-Team (Coming Soon: Project Octopus)
You’ll likely catch me listen to Michael Jackson as often as defending the Red County staff, BUT:
John and Ken are entertainers. These guys are worse than Jubal when it comes to picking and choosing the targets.
Let’s at least have a somewhat sophisticated understanding of these two.
Just the same it’s always fun to hear someone call out the phony self serving populace of our “Red County”
duplojohn,
John and Ken are completely wrong when it comes to immigration…but they are right about Red County!
#3,
I think Lewis finally told Jerbal to stop blogging over here.
Time to stop the Lewis Octopus!
This rally caught the Republican party completely by suprise. The spin machines of BOTH parties are working full time to downplay it. I hear a lot of bickering about the number of people in attendance. But this misses the real story! The real story, is all of those people who couldn’t get in because of the lack of parking and the ensuing traffic jam on the freeways that I understand went for miles! I got there an hour early, and had to drive around for a while looking for parking anywhere near the event but finally had to park way up by the college. On the way back, Many people were asking where to park. the streets were snarled. I barely made it in on time. It’s obvious that John and Ken had no idea that the turnout would be so high. If these guys had a better venue, they could have filled a Stadium! The crowd was diverse. Not just a bunch of angry white guys! What I think I saw at this event, was all of us in the VAST political center of this State who see that BOTH parties are corrupt as Hell…and they’re ANGRY, REAL ANGRY! I’m glad I made it in. I’ve never seen a crowd so ENERGIZED! I think that this really is the beginning of something BIG! And both parties are going to catch hell for it! Good, It’s about time! REMEMBER FULLERTON!!!
“I think Lewis finally told Jerbal to stop blogging over here”. Art, I bet you are right, however, I’ll bet you he’s still reading every comment. What’s this thing about “Octopus” I keep reading about?
Mike.
You are correct. There was no space behind the bar to stand. Whatever the numbers Fullerton will be remembered as ground zero of the 21st century tax rebellion.
There were a lot of people in Fullerton that day. The turn out was tremendous. I realize coming up with an exact number is hard, especially with so many just circling around, looking for a parking space, but a lot of people were there.
Hey “Saint Anthony”, is “Jerbal” the guy at Red State Blog? I think I’m in a running battle with him on that site…Kool-Aid Drinker! What an unfortunate name for him.
Hey “Larry Gilbert” we’re Brothers now. I’ll never forget that event, it was like the 60’s without the drugs! HAHAHAHA!! Are you getting active? I am. It’s Kinda fun. Gotta DO Bro! I’m working on a letter to the Gov right now. We all need to get serious now! Can’t wait for the next event, I’ll be there!!! Any more of us out there! Chime in! Take Care!
What I was trying to tell our buddy Jerbal was that the only way for the Republican Party to save itself, is to take a HUGE step to the Center. That’s where most of us live. I left the Party years ago. Both Parties are corrupt as Hell! There MUST be an ACCOUNTING for what’s happened!!! TAX REFORM, CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM NOW!!! WWWWWEEEEEEEEEETHISISFUN!!!!! Who is John Gualt?
Mike W
How about you “TalkinKamel”? You Gettin’ busy?
Whoa, there Art. That’s a hamster!
David,
Poetic license amigo! You know Jerbal is bug-eyed by now…
Hey, we (lahabrapost.com) covered the Fullerton Tax Payer Revolt event, culled video of RINO’s from La Habra, and exposed the “New Majority” types goings on in our sleepy little town.
We have loads of photos and more. Great blog going on here and its good to read stuff by Zenger, Gilbert, Tony B., and the rest of you malcontents. Keep up the great work.
As for Art, well, we agree sometimes and other times we shake our heads and reach for the oxicontin 🙂
