John and Ken rip the Red County blog, calling them political hacks

UPDATE: Matt Coker has piled on poor Jerbal over at the OC Weekly.  Click here to read his post.

John and Ken, the popular tax-fighting duo on KFI AM Talk Radio, tore into the Red County blog today – and it wasn’t pretty.  Click here to hear the complete audio of the Red County bashing segment.

You may recall that John and Ken tore Matt “Jerbal” Cunningham, the Red County editor, a new one last year when he outed the names of molestation victims on the ill-fated “Urell Amigos” website.

What set them off was a Red County article by GOP Assemblyman Paul Cook, who wrote that “Prop 1A allows voters to either place a spending limit in the state constitution by voting yes or to reduce the tax increase from four years to two years through a no vote.”  How disingenuous!  Prop. 1A raises your taxes, no matter how you vote for it!

Here are just a few of the things John and Ken had to say about Red County today:

  • This RedCounty.com website seems to be filled with all kinds of Republican political hacks, who publish propaganda and lies and B.S.
  • I’m sure they have a readership in the dozens.
  • What they’re trying to do is start some kind of groundswell against us, because we caught their bosses.
  • A lot of staff-holes and spokes-holes write on this blog, and sometimes the Assembly-holes write on the blog.
  • This is a Kool-Aid drinker website!  These are guys who don’t care about how you have been screwed by the tax increase and by the Republicans.  Their just trying to defend their tribe.

I have been saying all of this for a long time.  It is nice to hear the message validated by one of the top radio talk shows in the nation.

John and Ken also provided the information below so we can let Paul Cook know how we feel about what he and his fellow Assembly GOP hacks did by putting Prop. 1A on the ballot:

Call Assemblyman Paul Cook and tell him he’s an idiot for thinking Prop 1A won’t raise taxes!
