Mary is the Republican who spouts off GOP talking points and is voting to take away the right of same-sex couples to wed. And mary is the sensible humanist with a sense of humor. Got it. Now, don’t go changing your capitalizations on us, ladies!

Unfortunately the republican fear tactic worked on a lot of Americans. And that very tactic sent us in a further downward spiral. It is now time to believe in hope and stop allowing the evils of fear to blur our thinking.
Does McCain really want this job anyway? Why would he select Palin? To get Women voters? To get the Religious Right voters? Why does he keep mentioning Reagan and asserting that The Gipper is his favorite movie?
As an educated woman, I am appalled at his choices. And, what about you?
Don’t you feel a tad bit angry that he is talking down to you by his acts and remarks?
Or look at it this way: If you truly believe in the good (God) for our future and not the evil (Devil), you will not let unwarranted fears lead your journey through life.
Obama is leading us on hope. He is restoring confidence. And that optimism is what this country has been craving.
