We can hope all day long that tax increases will help the ecconomy and socialized medicine is not a prescription for death. But it will be a false hope.
Not that McCain is any better. I saw in the paper this morning that he might be open to tax increases. I don’t see him fighting socialized medicine either. But I have not followed his health care proposals too closely.
Bob Barr is the man in 2008. Remember when historians look back on the choices we made, nobody will be able to say they did not have an alternative choice between the two statist parties. History will always show that voters did have a candidate on the ballot that represented the principles of constitutionally limited government on which this nation was founded.

Andy, I’d be very nervous and confused if I were a McCain supporter. It’s impossible to keep track of where he stands on anything. If he said that this morning, it’s a double flip flop – he opposed the Bush tax cuts in the Senate, then said he would extend and add to them when he was running in the Primary, now this.
Glad I have a candidate that won’t just say anything to get elected!
Awww, that was cute AND fun!

AAHAAAAHAHAHA!
If Johnny Mac is elected, I’m going to do a lot of hoping. Is hoping the same thing as praying?
