Indicted GOP blogger finally quits his six figure job in the 909

Flash Report blogger arrested in San Bernardino County

Adam Aleman, the former blogger over at the hard right Flash Report and Red County 909 has resigned his six figure job at the San Bernardino County Assessor’s office, according to the San Bernardino Sun.  The Republican who hired him, S.B. Assessor Bill Postmus, still doesn’t get it.  He waxed poetic about Aleman as he bid him a tearful adieu:

“It is with tremendous sadness that I accept your letter of resignation.  For over three years, you have been an invaluable key member of my staff. I thank you for all you have accomplished for the people of San Bernardino County.  I would like to thank you for your hard work in improving the Office of County Assessor.  Your accomplishments are second to none in implementing technological advancements, increasing public awareness of taxpayer exemptions, and managing and guiding a staff of professionals. You have always exceeded expectations in your work for San Bernardino County. For that, I will remain grateful.”

Postmus sure had a man-crush on Aleman! Aleman was hired as an Assistant Assessor even though he utterly lacked the qualifications to pull down his $119,000 salary.  That is pretty typical for the Republican hacks who infest government in the 909 and here in Orange County.

Aleman resigned only after San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors Chairman Paul Biane demanded that Postmus fire him.  The little criminal should have quit when he was charged with 6 felonies!

According to this link, Aleman gave $2,300 to failed GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney.  God only knows who else got some of Aleman’s loot.

Good riddance to Aleman!  Ironically Orange Coast Magazine picked the Flash Report and Red County as the two best conservative blogs in Southern California in their latest edition.  Methinks they picked these hackish red-faced blogs BEFORE Aleman got arrested.

When will the good Republicans in Orange County start a non-corrupt GOP blog to call their own?
