I want to invite readers to view a 20-minute animation of our consumerist society, narrated by Anne Leonard. Millions have viewed this video and it has been widely used in classrooms around the globe. 20 minutes seems like Forever! on the internet, but there is a reason for its popularity. Check it out above or visit the original “Story of Stuff” website by clicking here.
I know Spitzer well. He will never pursue it any farther.
Who is the Red Vixen?

You shouldn’t be asking questions of others when you conceal so much. So who are you with? Rebecca or Dina? What really happened between Rebecca and Joe Dunn? Why did you really pull papers for the 1st Supes race and then defend Hoa Van Tran (I would have loved to see Janet Nguyen avoid a run-off with THREE opponents)!? It’s time you gave us some answers. Nothing you do makes any sense.

PS: Red, great video. I’ve been saying the same thing for years. It’s awesome that others are coming forward and exposing the conspiracies for what they are!
Paul,
Come to the Screwdrivers’s event and find out.

Sarah,
Thanks for the comments. I found the video quite facinating. I had always wondered how in the world stuff could be so cheap and yet the companies could turn a profit to stay in business. I had to watch it a second time, because the information was simply something that I was unaware of. I think the author did a very good job in presenting her observations and study.
There were also some other spin off projects done by schools and individuals that were posted in the community/blog part of the site. In particular, I found the video done by the Mendocino students very inpirational. The public school there has a hands on approach to science and the environment that encouraged student projects such as the “Zap!” electric car, local grow projects and monitoring local waterways for temperature change, salinity etc.. Such exciting curriculum in public education is inspiring too!

Sarah,
I absolutely love the name! Excellent effort on your part!

Thank you. The name was intended to be a sort of double-entandre. And I’m starting to get the feeling that it may be beneficial for us to work together on a video of our own! Let me know if you’re interested. This is exactly my kind of cause!

Nice, after watching it, I wanted to go out and buy their consumer products with the green recycle label and continue the cycle of unstoppable consumerism.
