I cannot believe Hillary Clinton went there. She actually ran a t.v. ad in which “a phone rings in the background as children sleep. An announcer says, “It’s 3 a.m. and your children are safe and asleep. But there’s a phone in the White House and it’s ringing. Something’s happening in the world. Your vote will decide who answers that call, whether it’s someone who already knows the world’s leaders, knows the military, someone tested and ready to lead in a dangerous world.” (L.A. Times)
Are you kidding? If the phone rings in Hillary’s bedroom, at 3 a.m., chances are she will wake up and wonder where the heck Bill is. How sad is that?
If Senator Obama’s phone rang at 3 a.m., he will at least be in bed with his wife. And I trust him to wake up and tend to the nation’s business.
As for Hillary, I don’t know how she can make decisions while she is wondering what little tramp her husband Bill has shacked up with for the night…
Congratulations, this blog has reached a new low with this posting.
What an IDIOT you are. Can’t you discuss the candidates and the issues without resorting to INFANTILE personal attacks. Any credibility you might have is destroyed by such comments.
Posters 1 and 2,
Au contraire. The person who went on the attack was Hillary. Let me make this clear. When she says Obama is the wrong person to answer the phone during an emergency at three in the morning, what she is really saying is that this black man is incompetent.
The unintended consequence of Shrillary’s latest attack is the very fair questioning of what could happen if SHE got the call. Do any of you really think her and Bill still share a bed? If so I have some swamp land in Florida for you.
Let’s put this another way. We know that Bill is a complete pig. I truly doubt he has changed his ways. If Shrillary gets elected, it is very possible that Bill will end up getting blackmailed by one of his hoochie mamas. Or someone will use one of them to blackmail him. Imagine the consequences of THAT. The man is a walking security risk.
Obama on the other hand is a loving husband and father. His loyalty to his wife tells me that he will be just as dedicated to the people of this country.
If anyone should be maligned in this situation it is Shrillary, not me and certainly not Obama.
So Hillary can’t run an ad against Obama without being accused of racism? The question of who is the most prepared to lead is LEGITIMATE and deserves to be asked and debated. Reducing the political discourse to name calling and innuendo means that you DO NOT have any meaningful or valid points to make. Hillary is NOT Bill and should not be held responsible for his personal failings. NO ONE knows what goes on in other peoples PRIVATE LIVES. I wouldn’t presume that Obama is an angel. Sorry, but you do deserve to be maligned your post was and is childish.
Poster 4,
Wouldn’t it be nice if Shrillary could disagree with Obama on the ISSUES? No, instead she keeps insinuating that he is less capable than her. That IS racist!
We don’t know what Bill is up to today, but I think we can make a pretty good guess. He will always need a “bimbo squad” to cover up for his little outings…
Preparedness is an ISSUE. You may disagree with Hillary but it is not racist of her to raise the issue. EVERY candidate believes that they are the most capable, otherwise they would not be running. Again, you are such an IDIOT!
#6,
No. Preparedness to take a phone call is NOT the issue. Obama nailed it when he said judgment is the issue.
It is very likely that on a typical night Hillary will still be up at three in the morning, gnashing her teeth and wondering when Bill will return from the local strip joint. What sort of judgment do you think she will have then? I shudder to think what mistakes she might be prone to at that point in time.
Where is Bill ?? He is looking for another train to jump on.!!! This train is on a siding –permanently.!!
Obama is questioning Hillary’s judgement? What he’s really saying is that a woman can’t have good judgement! What a SEXIST PIG! I wonder how he will ever be able to concentrate with the constant worry about what his unpatriotic big-mouthed wife will say next? With these kinds of NONSENSICAL posts Art, your blog is becoming a joke. Stop the irrational HATE-MONGERING and stick to the facts.
Art,
Go back to your asshat republicans. And, on your way, take a little trip on down to Educationland to escape your town of Pun-ville, USA.
A little brain stimulation may ward off any urge to steal a bad joke from a talking head.
Good night and good luck.
Mary
mary,
YOU listen to Limbaugh? Interesting.
No, I am not going back to the GOP – at least not while they remain the anti-Mexican party.
Admit it – Shrillary blew it with this ad! Once again her pathetic campaigning has backfired.
#9,
No way! Senator Obama’s wife has been a key component of his campaign. Obama respects women – the one who doesn’t is Shrillary’s horny husband, Bill.
BTW, I loved it when Michele Obama told an audience the other day not to let their kids grow up to be hedge fund managers or corporate lawyers. Guess what? Shrillary’s daughter Chelsea is a hedge fund manager – and Shrillary herself used to work in corporate law! Don’t forget that Shrillary was on the Wal Mart board of directors. Priceless…what a great rip on the Clintons!
Art,
Hasn’t BO been voting the same as HRC since he has been able to vote?
You should be ashamed of yourself.
Your sexism is just perpetuating the filth and foulness of a society against our mothers, sisters, daughters and girlfriends.
Art, your misogyny is showing. Whether you are for Hillary or Obama, anyone who has seen any of the debates or has followed Hillary’s senate career has to admit that she is a very credible candidate. She knows the issues and has answers for the country’s problems. These continuous personal attacks [Shrillary ] diminish YOU far more than her. None of these candidates is all good or all bad, only an IDIOT would think so.
Art states;
“Wouldn’t it be nice if Shrillary could disagree with Obama on the ISSUES? No, instead she keeps insinuating that he is less capable than her. That IS racist!”
Only in the Pedroza Phantsmagoria could this TV spot be twisted into a screed about Bill’s past marital infidelity, and THEN into a TV spot that is racist.
For chrissake Art, stop being a ridiculous political hack for once in your life. We can’t take you seriously…and your blog will soon slip out of the top ten of that meaningless rating you post.
#16,
Obama voted against the war, Hillary voted for it.
BO has speech writers telling him what to orate. And, when he isn’t scripted, he stumbles for the politically right thing to say showing his naievete.
He is an empty package with good graphics.
The emperor has no clothes.
#15,
I have a solid history of supporting women in politics, including Michele Martinez and Janet Nguyen, so you haven’t a leg to stand on.
This nation is ready for a woman president, but Hillary is not that woman. I believe Diane Feinstein would win in a landslide. But not Hillary.
Face it, Hillary is an awful candidate and we are lucky that Obama is on the verge of taking her out.
#14,
Racism is a far bigger problem in this country than sexism. But honestly would you not agree that what Bill Clinton does to women is by far the most demeaning thing you can do to them? They are nothing more than playthings to him.
Obama respects women. Bill just wants to sleep with them.
#18,
I think Bill Clinton has spent more time out of his clothes than Obama has, or at least out of his pants.
Art, Obama couldn’t vote against Iraq as he WASN’T a Senator when the vote was taken. I believe that as a former republican you probably voted for Bush, who led us into this disastrous war, what does that say about YOUR judgement? “Shrillary” IS a sexist reference, IDIOT.
BO did not vote for or against the war because he was not a Senator at the time. How convenient.
Art, please go back to the republican party, where your SLEAZY personal attacks will be welcomed. Liberals prefer to judge candidates and issues on the facts. Good riddance and don’t let the the screen door hit you on the ass on your way out!
Art,
sexism vs. agism vs. racism
Gather up all your headlines and graphics and discuss your issues with your shrink. You have been projecting yourself to Juice readers for some time now. You perpetuate the “ism”s in almost every post.
Media has no problem with calling McCain old or spewing sexist remarks in RNC’s direction. But they will call out anyone’s racist remarks.
Analytical thought. Is that so hard?
Mary
Art,
You said, “what Bill Clinton does to women is by far the most demeaning thing you can do to them…”
Believe it or not some women know exactly what they are doing. Don’t give men all the credit.
Mary
“Obama voted against the war, Hillary voted for it.”
Hey Art pry your lips from Obama’s rear and do some homework. Obama was not in the Senate to vote on the war.
He has however consistantly voted to fund it.
Sean,
I should have known you were a Hillary hack. What is it about corrupt politicians that attracts you like flies to sh*t? That certainly explains your amor for Sal “El Cochino” Tinajero.
I am certain that the bills you are referencing included other matters. Americans know where Obama stands re the war, and they know Hillary voted for it. Enough said.
I think Art is unafraid to say what a lot of people think re: Hillary’s commercial. I honestly think that Bill and Hillary Clinton sleep in separate rooms. It has been rumored that she’s having an affair with her assistant, Huma Abedin. None of this has been confirmed, but Huma is always very close to Hillary.
But really, this shouldn’t matter. What is more troubling is the fact that Hillary Clinton has managed a poorly run campaign. She has had issues with campaign staffers, trouble with money, etc. I would rather have a president who has proven that he can manage those around him for that emergency call in the middle of the night.
Even though, the Clintons’ affairs should not matter, they have proven to be distracting. With all of the trouble of the Iraq War, the tanking economy, etc., I would rather not worry or have the media become distracted with whomever Bill has below the desk during the next four years.
Michelle Obama and Barack Obama seem to have a more traditional marriage. Who know what will happen in their personal lives, but so far, it seems like we won’t be distracted with Lewinskys, Paula Joneses, etc.
Adriana, if it doesn’t matter, why bring it up at all. Do not assume about what goes on behind anyone’s closed doors. It’s none of ourbusiness, but even the Obama’s may have problems. After all, he hasn’t been in the limelight that long for skeletons to rattle.
anonymous, I agree that the Clintons’ personal lives should not matter, but in today’s, media hungry, instant access to information society, it does. Why does Britney Spears even make the news then?
I wish that the media was not as focused on smut journalism, but that seems to be the case. The Clintons have a history of giving the media what they want when it comes to salacious details. And I find it distracting.
True, the Obamas may have problems too. We don’t know that, but so far, all indications are that they don’t have issues of that variety. Obama’s wife is not as scripted as Hillary Clinton, and in my opinion, she doesn’t seem as hungry for power to endure that kind of drama, but I could very well be wrong.
“Americans know where Obama stands re the war, and they know Hillary voted for it. Enough said.”
However you said he voted against it. He did not. Can’t you simply admit you are wrong without going into a litany of personal attacks?
Whay am I thinking? Of course you can’t. You’re Art Pedroza.
Sena,
Wow! Who knew you would be so bitter about Hillary’s downfall. I will enjoy rubbing your face in it if Obama wins in Texas and Ohio.
ART: Come out of the closet so you can have some honesty, transparency and integrity when you want to talk of others sexuality and affairs.
Poster 34,
Wow. You Hillary hacks are something else. Now you are slurring people you don’t like by calling them gay? Aren’t you Dems supposed to be pro-gay? I would expect this from Reeps, but Dems? Not good. It does however say a lot about Hillary supporters.
After 20 years of marriage and four kids, I am pretty sure I am not gay. But I have full respect for those that are. I am sorry you are using their identity to malign people you disagree with.

adriana,
The media is only catering to their smut-hungry audience, which evidently, you are a subscriber.
We need a president not a cheerleader. HRC has proven leadership. Her successes and failures have strengthened her strategies for her future role as President. She knows how Washington works and has committed her life to this country.
Mary
Mary,
I am not a subscriber of smut journalism directly, but since we are assaulted with these types of issues, given certain politician’s extracurricular activities, we all end up on the receiving end. At least, Barack Obama will not dignify questions about whether he wears boxers or briefs with an answer like Bill Clinton did.
That being said, Hillary Clinton does not have proven leadership. If her current campaign is indicative of her ability to lead on day one, she’s in deep trouble. She didn’t plan to be campaigning this long and this hard. To me, this shows a certain kind of arrogance, much like GWB has shown in Iraq. What about Hillary’s fiscal management? She is having to bankroll her campaign to a certain extent.
And sure, she knows how Washington works when it comes to lobbyist money. What has she taken so much money from the pharmaceutical industry, the defense industry, and telecommunications industry?
Doesn’t it bother you that she has close relationships with Rupert Murdoch, Monsanto, Tyson Foods, and Wal-Mart? Hillary is more committed to the corporate interests than she is to “our country.” Maybe your idea of “our country” is different from mine, but I’m speaking as a citizen, not a corporate entity.
“I will enjoy rubbing your face in it if Obama wins in Texas and Ohio.”
How did that work out for you Pedroza???
Texas – Hillary
Ohio – Hillary
Sean,
I guess there are still a lot of racists in those states.
Ironically, if Hillary gets the nomination, the GOP will be thrilled…
