Art..what do we do if they cancel the council meeting (like they always do before elections!) so they don’t have to show the world on T.V. how many people are against measure D? Have you contacted local media including Spanish press??

#1 is correct … council meetings that fall on the eve of an election are generally cancelled.
Our elected officials refuse to listen to their constituents register their concerns and/or complaints about their lack of leadership. And it’s another opportunity NOT to televise a council meeting.

Crazy Claudia has resorted to putting her Yes on Measure D signs on the public right of way BECAUSE NOBODY WANTS HER SIGNS ON THEIR PRIVATE PROPERTY. When your term is up Clownia, pack up your personal belongings and get out of town. No one likes you except developers and your local political paramours.
Re: Pre-Election meetings..According to city hall insiders, the 4th person needed to have a quorum for a meeting waits on the 8th floor and staff tells them if the crowd looks hostile and how many are there. If it’s a big crowd full of gadflys then the councilmember on the 8th floor gets a tummy ache and goes home and there is no meeting.
I also saw Claudia putting up signs on the public right of way. I’ve also seen Brian and Lisa Bist putting them up in the Public right of way. Shame on them. The only people I’ve seen with signs in their yards are Councilmembers!!

At 4th & Grand is a fenced parking lot for Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. For respect nobody puts signs on that fence and no grafitti.
Well, you guessed it – the no class Yes group has put up the only sign at that location; SHAMEFUL, NO RESPECT.
