Being third is great unless your the Patriots!

First of all, we want to congratulate the New England
Patriots on a perfect 16-0 Season…so far. Secondly,
we want to thank the NFL Network for allowing us all to
see this exciting football history against the NY Giants
last night. We want to also thank the Cable Operators
around the country with the exception of Cox Cable who
does offer the NFL Network…for not being complete jerks
and blacking out the three major Networks so we could not
see that game! Where is Congress in this mess and major
stupidity? Where is the FCC Chairman Kevin Martin? The
NFL Channel needs to be located in ANY Basic Cable package
and does not need to be attached to some special “Sports
Tier”! Without ESPN this year….this would have been a
totally worthless 2007.

OK, but what about Presidential politics? How come Fox
Network isn’t adding Ron Paul to their forum before the
Iowa Caucus and New Hampshire Primary? But does Ron Paul
even hit in any Presidential Poll? What number? Since
the hit on Benazir Butto, John McCain got a little bump
up in the Polls….not enough to challenge the big guys
but a little. The truth of the matter is however, that
Mike Huckabee will win both Iowa and New Hampshire. Mitt
Romney will come in second and Rudy Guiliani will be the
third choice in both states! Even though Rudy has done
nothing but show up for a few community forums and meet-ups
Rudy will carry the third spot, which bodes well for the
future Primary contests.

There will be no clarity for any of the candidates until the
Florida and California Primary elections are completed. If
Hillary is challenged closely by Barak Obama in either Iowa
or New Hampshire….the world could be turned upside down
in the mid-states like North and South Carolina, Georgia,
Alabama and maybe even Arkansas. John Edwards is not going
to win in Iowa or New Hampshire…and he won’t take Virginia
or Arkansas…but he could come in third in a bunches of the
Primary races. What does that mean? Not much, Hillary is
going to take Florida, California, Pennsylvania, Illinois,
Ohio, Michigan and New York and will carry the nomination
….who she picks as her running mate will be determined not
by who comes in 2nd but by region. She has New York so Bill
Richardson of Arizona is the odds on favorite to be her
VP Selection.

What about Rudy….he takes New York, Pennsylvania, Florida
and California to be sure. If he can stay in 2nd or 3rd place
in South Carolina, Georgia and Louisiana…..he walks directly
into the nomination without a problem. Rudy will probably take
Michigan, Illinois and Ohio. He will have to run very hard in
those states…otherwise he could find trouble from Huckabee
and Romney. In the end Rudy will prevail and probably take Mike
Huckabee as his running mate. This is bound to be a very fun
and exciting Presidential campaign in 2008!

So, what about those Patriots? Yep, Tom Terrific (Brady) and
Dandy (Randy Moss)…were something to see. Anyone that missed
that game are “less than”! But who has the 3rd Seed? Yep, the
San Diego Chargers..if they can beat the dreaded Oakland Raiders
today! We hate the New York Giants…and Eli Manning. It was
a scary game and why they couldn’t crunch Manning was disturbing.
The Giants hammered Brady…..but thank God he survived. Eli
Manning was bearly touched. Frustrating! OK, back to why the
San Diego Chargers may be in the SuperBowl…..(What? You say!)
What happens say if the Chargers just get lucky in the AFC Title
Game against the Pats? Hey, they could win! Lord knows that
San Diego’s mouthy rookie Quarterback Phil Rivers…is certainly
not at all as good as Tom Brady….but what if? The ever loser
Chargers…..facing Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys in the the
great SuperBowl? Hey, it could happen!

So, who is going to remember 2008 and who is going to win or
lose? Will we remember Barak Obama, Mitt Romney or Phil Rivers
in 2009 as anything but also-rans? How about this one?

Who won the SuperBowl last year?…we mean in 2007!
Super Bowl XLI, February 4, 2007,
Indianapolis Colts, Chicago Bears, 29-17,
Miami, FL

*God, we hate the Colts and Peyton Manning!
