I had hoped that we would be able to continue to work with Sean Mill on this blog. But I noticed a little while ago that he was preparing yet another attack on me and Thomas Gordon. This is still my blog. I don’t see any reason to allow someone to stay on this blog if their sole intention is to attack the rest of us.
So goodbye Sean and good luck. You have decided to oppose those who are trying to bring change to Santa Ana. I am sorry that you have made that decision. You used to be all about changing our city. Since Councilman Sal Tinajero made you a planning commissioner, it seems that power is more important to you than change.
Well, to me, and to Thomas, change is more important than power. That is what this blog is all about.
If you want a forum to attack me and Thomas, by all means feel free to start your own blog.
I think you will find that starting and maintaining a blog is a ton of work.
We will in the meantime continue to do what we do best. Expose the lies coming out of Santa Ana’s City Hall and call for real change that will open up our local government and benefit our fellow residents.
This all just took a left and went to crazy town. You guys have just discredited yourselves to the level of name calling teenaged girls.
Wow, you’ll look back at his one day and realize how absurd it looked.
Wow,
I never saw that coming.
While I have always admired Sean in the past, especially when he would talk in front of the Council and rip them a new one, I mean, he is so well spoken!
I and a few folks began to see a change in him ever since his boy Slimy Sal took office. Now a whole lotta folks are experiencing a whole new side.
Sean always urged patience every time his Boy echoed Pudrido’s vote. Instead, Mill diverted attention from awful Council votes to attacks on certain individuals (not that it wasn’t deserved) but in essence he was asking us to swallow all the crappola that Slimy Sal was trying to shove down our throats(case in point, Measure D.)
I certainly saw the change in Sean and now Art realizes he has become a liability. With some sadness I have to agree with Art on this one. It seems the sand has run out and Seanny has been given the boot. What surprises me the most out of all the attacks on the bloggers is that Sean attacked Luis and basically called him a coward and a liar. I have to say that Luis is the most honest and sincere person you would ever want to have as a friend.
As I wrote in one of my earlier posts, I urged Sean to take a step back and take stock of his actions. Sean has lost perspective and is being absorbed by the Pudrido/Reem Cabal whether he realizes it or not. Sean is not stupid by any means but by putting blinders on and running interference for his Boy the net effect is relaized. I don’t know if Sean can ever gain his credibility back. That folks, I believe, is the saddest part.
Poster 1,
More sad than absurd, in my opinion. Sean WAS the revolution in this town, for many years. But he is clearly now allied with the establishment. And his goal appears to be to attack us instead of his new friends on the City Council.
I am a fairly tolerant person, but I don’t see why I should keep someone on my blog team if their stated goal is going to be to attack us.
Miguel Pulido must be cracking up over this. This is precisely what he wanted. However, this is but one skirmish in a long war. We will continue on our mission.
Cqt96,
Your assessment is 100% correct. I considered Sean a friend, but he has obviously been compromised. I hope he wakes up at some point, but once you are tainted by power, it is awfully hard to let go.
This is one of the reasons I had no problem quitting my commission. Sean commented to me yesterday that he really loves being able to punk city officials as a commissioner. He asked me how I could walk away from that.
Quite frankly, that was never my goal as a commissioner. I never lorded over anyone while serving as a commissioner. For me it was a humbling experience.
We will continue to do what we do here at the Orange Juice. But I will be doing so with a lump in my throat, at least for awhile.
Art,
Good move. Sean Mill has become nothing more than a shakedown artist for Sal. His views have always been slanted to serve his Master, Sal. It is far better we find out about his lack of character now, then maybe after he is elected to a real position. Sean, you and Sal go have a good time at Happy Hour and let real issues be debated
here in an open an honest matter.
Did I miss the public vote on Mills?
What a short lived revolution, you get 3, 4,5 or was it 6 people together and cry revolution, and proceed to kick each others butts.
This is better entertainment than WWE wrestling.
It must be Stanley pulling your strings in the background, first he pulls the councilmans strings and takes out Gordon & others, and then the bloggers strings and takes out Mills & others. What a guy.

Your observations are spot on. Only Mill knows why he has chose to saddle up to Slimy Sal.
Furthermore, it’s disheartening to learn that Mill refuses to disclose his position on Measure D and agrees with Slimy Sal on NOT televising council meetings.
My admiration for Mill, like Slimy Sal’s, has greatly diminished. And all over Slimy Sal’s decision to bounce Thomas Gordon from EPIC.
Boys, was it worth it?
VOTE NO ON MEASURE D –
Dump Claudia Alvarez
You guys are pathetic. How can you even begin claiming that you’re impartial?
Don’t agree with us? YOU’RE FIRED!
Pathetic.
By the way Art, how are you going to explain this?

I’m very curious to see you spin this one.
Did I miss Sean’s post on his position on Measure D?
History repeats itself. Just like former councilmen John Acosta, Ted Moreno, and Tony Espinoza before them, now we see Sal Tinajero and Sean Mill go from semi-respected “outsiders” ready to take on City Hall, to corrupted power brokers acting EXACTLY like the people they replaced. I’ve seen power corrupt people before but never this quickly. Hopefully Sal and Sean are stopped before family members are forced to make that long drive up to Lompoc to visit them in their future home! Although I hear they both have family members capable of baking a cake with a file in it! Bye Bye Sean…I miss you already!
Can somebody please tell me what Sean and Sal have done that is gonna land them in Lompoc?
Thanks to Pedroza the “O-Juice” is now the “No-Juice”. Keep up the good work Art you’ll destroy the whole movement before you know it.
As a non-Santa Ana resident it seems to me that Pedroza has just done a Sal Tinerjo with regard to purging someone who is personally offensive to him. Beginning to think all you Santa Ana guys are alike —-
Arturo,
Pedroza fancies himself to be an intellectual. Clearly he is not as smart as he thinks or Miguel Pulido is simply much smarter. Miguel either wanted the OJ3 to get off the commissions or stop blogging. Well 2 are off the commissions and 1 is off the blog. Miguel got what he wanted thanks to the efforts of Pedroza.
Is Pedroza really the person you people want leading you into battle? Miguel is a far greater foe than Pedroza can handle.
Pedroza is like Custer at the Little Big Horn. You remember what happened to the troops that followed him into that battle. Good luck. You’ll need it.
Now Dr. Lomeli is only Pedroza’s devoted follower and apologist.
The revolution is over! Time for line up.
Art,
You took someone
Art,
I must tell you that I disagree with what you did, without any further evidence, at least. As you know from previous discussions, I am no fan of Sean’s rants, however… I fail to see you showing others by example, how to deal with those who disagree. I have always stood for allowing others to voice their opinions, even if they are wrong, because everyone should be heard, even Stan, although he makes me wonder if I might be wrong!
I also would have liked to see what Sean was going to say about Sal and Measure D. I still wonder what the heck was going through Sal’s mind as he was playing the city council meeting to vote on the removal of Thomas.
As I said I am no fan of Sean’s, but you should have given him enough rope to hang himself instead of doing it for him.
Carl,
Sean tried to put up a vile post where he called me and Luis Rodriguez liars. I deleted it. You can read it over at the Santa Ana Citizens Yahoogroup.
I have no problem disagreeing with people. Sean however decided to make it personal. One of the few rules we have here at the Orange Juice is that the members of our blog team respect each other and do not attack each other. Sean was warned and he chose to cross the line.
Blogging for the Orange Juice is not a right. It is a distinct privilege. Sean had a great thing going here – but he blew it.
Some folks have asked me to let him come back. I really doubt that is going to happen. Sean made a choice to go with Sal Tinajero and the crooked, corrupt Santa Ana City Council. That was his right. And it was my right to dismiss him when he turned on us.
Claudio Gallegos has returned to the Orange Juice after his recent hiatus. I think he will more than fill the void left by Mill.
Art sensors Sean for Sean’s views even though Art is a shameless shrill for Councilwoman Martinez…..Priceless.
Mark my words, Michelle will be a one term councilperson as long as she surrounds herself with people that hurl stones.
Art,
I just read Sean’s post on the SACits site on Yahoo. Your claim that he called you and Luis “liars” is a lie itself. He called you a liar, not Luis. In fact he was correct, Luis admits on this blog that his resignation was not a result of Thomas Gordon’s removal. As far as it being “vile” I think that is a bit of a reach. Your attack on Mr. Amezcua was vile so I think you need to look in the mirror. I doubt this will get posted since it shows your true colors but I’ll give it a try anyway.
“Sean had a great thing going here – but he blew it.”
I’m sure he is all broken up over this Art. He’ll probably have to cry himself to sleep.
Sean should thank you. Being rid of you finally gives him credibility.
Yep – the ol’ divide and conquer – you lose.
On top of it, you had a friend on one of the most important commissions in the city, and you chose to censor him because you don’t like his comments. You have chosen to live in your own little world that has nothing to do with real life in Santa Ana. You just rendered yourself impotent.

No creo que el Senor Pedroza hable el Espanol.
translation
I do not think Mr. Pedroza speaks Spanish.
Carlos,
What do you base that belief on? I do speak Spanish. Fluently. I teach safety at Cerritos College and for my employer and an independent safety training company – in both English and Spanish.
I learned English at school, like a lot of other children of immigrants. But I never forgot how to speak, read and write Spanish.
one of the ever present pajaritos told me
I apologize if I was wrong.
Carlos,
Don’t worry about it. Considering everything else I am being called right now, that was the smallest of slights.
Art I didn’t used to respect or like you but now I do. You had the guts to punish a friend when you saw him go South on you. That takes a lot of courage. Most people could not do that. Follow your heart my friend and you will never go wrong.
#28,
“You had the guts to punish a friend when you saw him go South on you. That take a lot of courage.”
If you think punishing a friend is a courageous hallmark of friendship, you need help. Serious help.
