The media continues to pile on indicted Sheriff Mike Carona – and a pajarito tells me that the worse is yet to come for Carona, and his allies, Mike Schroeder and O.C. District Attorney Tony Rackauckas.
According to my pajarito, both Schroeder and Rackauckas are going to be indicted. Not sure for what, but Schroeder’s wife works for Rackauckas, and it is not a stretch to believe that the Schroeder’s conspired to misuse the D.A’s office to benefit Carona and his allies.
In the meantime, R. Scott Moxley, of the O.C. Weekly, finally was able to write that “They got the Sheriff.” And Moxley stepped into the way-back machine to come up with this gem:
Flash back to 1999: Carona had been in office just five months. He and Jaramillo came to visit me and colleague Nick Schou at Weekly headquarters, then in Costa Mesa by John Wayne Airport. I
So, has Greenhut personally met with Clinton? He certainly writes like he has. Greenhut has blurred Carona and Clinton; perhaps it’s the “C” that confuses him.
The papers are filled with articles, letters and quotes about Carona, almost all negative. He has made way too many political enemies by being heavy-handed and arrogant. After the way he treated Bill Hunt, Carona shouldn’t complain about the feds putting him in handcuffs or humiliating him.
More to come? I’ll tune in hourly.
Put Moorlach in charge of the county. The others either have no guts or they can’t be trusted.
#2 You got it brother (or sister).
moorlach is the only one stating the obvious.
He scares the pants off of me though with his Christain Fundamentalist coddling.
It was OK to get elected, but it scares me to think who controls him.
Carona–“I am not a crook!”
If your pajarito has it right, this will be a bigger mess than the corruption of the 1970’s!
Disgraceful!
