Well, Wisckol insisted on asking about a RUMOR that Democratic candidate John Edwards had an affair. And where did that rumor appear? The National Enquirer. Who knew Wisckol even bothered reading that rag?
Here are a few excerpts from the National Enquirer story about Edwards’ purported affair:
Sources have come forward to charge that the “other woman” previously worked on Edwards’ campaign and followed the 54-year-old candidate on trips across the U.S.
A source close to the woman, whose name is being withheld by The NATIONAL ENQUIRER, says that she confessed to having an affair in phone calls and emails, saying that her work with Edwards soon exploded into romance.

Art, Not sure which post to ask this question under but when I try to link to your site from the Red County Blog I get directed to an puff article about Santa Ana Mayor Miguel Pulido? Is this the work of hackers or are you know pimping for Pulido?

The Editor of Red County/OC Blog, Matt “Jubal” Cunningham is a big fan of Pulido. They both hate immigrants. And Matt hates the Orange Juice.
Matt has purposefully messed up our link on his site, sending it to a fawning article about Pulido, because he is upset that our blog has become so successful, and we regularly bash Pulido.
The joke is on Matt. We are now linking his site to a recent audio clip of the John and Ken show where Matt was excoriated by John and Ken because of his involvement in the “Urell Amigos” a group dedicated to supporting Monsignor John Urell, a guy who covered up for molester priests.
The Urell Amigos website screwed up and revealed the names of molestation victims. Nice job Matt!
At any rate, hopefully you can remember our new URL, which is http://www.orangejuiceblog.com. That way you won’t need to link to us from Red County/OC Blog.

Art, why are you commenting as an Anon at 10:10, and then “answering” yourself a few minutes later with the ready-made link and long comment. This is such an obvious set-up. Readers are not as stupid as you think. Or at least, not as stupid as you are.
And stop the “we’re so successful” crap, Art. Anyone can read that Sitemeter link. Your traffic has hardly moved. Stop the lying!
I don’t even bother with the OC Register. And now you have given me yet another reason to avoid buying or reading that rag. Mrs. Edwards is rather vocal, so we’ll be hearing more from her via other outlets.

Art, Don’t you think you are being a little hard on Matt Cungingham? I met he and his wife Laura at a GOP fundraiser a few years ago and they seemed like a delightful young couple! I can’t believe he is a racist. He seems like a bright young man with a great future ahead of him. I think you must be talking about a different Matt Cungingham because the one I know is NOT a racist and treat all people with respect. Perhaps we will need to start a “Friends of Matt Cungingham” and run an ad denoucing the O.J. blog and other media outlets who are saying these nasty things about him. Please tell you readers why you say the editor a an important Blog like Red County is a racist. That is VERY strong language Art and you better back it up.

You can always tell a lot about a guy by looking at who he supports. Matt obviously is a Pulido fan, since he is linking my site to a Pulido article. And he has supported Minutemen in the past, for elective office.
I’ll tell you what, get proof that Matt supports the Dream Act and providing a path to citizenship for immigrant children raised here and I will be happy to praise Matt for being a supporter of immigrants. Good luck with that!

Art, Thanks for the information. I heard the Matt’s wife Laura once held a high ranking, high paying, position within the O.C. GOP but was forced out a few years ago. Do you or your readers know any of the details? Did she have to leave because of something Matt wrote on Red County? Keep up the great reporting.
