If so I would make sure that the Santa Ana city council acknowledges pending receipt of *$193,604,765 over the next 30 years from the extension of Measure M. Isn’t that why Santa Ana residents voted for the extension? So that Measure M would supplement the standard city budget to avoid a massive COP obligation?

Was this bucket of future dollars discussed at the city council meeting.? If not, why not?
Well by golly didn’t we all know that Measure M was intended to be another big pot of gold for the politicos.? Larry your so kind to keep reminding us that we will keep paying the piper on this fiasco.

For the record I voted NO to the 30 year extension. Beyond that I was one of the co-authors of the opposition as verifiable by simply checking the ballot book.
That said, Measure M taxes will continue to be collected and given out by those in power.
