Harald Martin on the way out, but is Rob Stewart on the way in?

The OC Register and the Times, O.C. edition, are both reporting today that racist Anaheim Union High School District (AUHSD) Trustee Harald Martin might resign if doing so will save the AUHSD the cost of running a special election, which according to the Register might be as much as $550,000.

According to the Register, “His resignation would enable the board to appoint another trustee within 60 days or proceed with a special election anyway.”

However, the Times has reported that “he said that even if he did resign, he would run for the board again in 2008.” Not good.
