I think this is disgusting. With all the charges and allegations, he now get’s to cop a plea of no contest? And just a year in a City or private jail? I can’t help wondering if this plea bargin was done to stop some things that would have come out at the trial that were “unflattering” to the Sheriff.

I cannot believe this Sheriff got off this easy on the Jaramillo case. This man hired Jaramillo without a background check of any kind because he worked on his election. Can you believe Jaramillo got off this easy? Well I can. I will ask the Supervisors to start an investagation on the Sheriff. I want an internal investigation done at the Sheriff’s Department on our County Tax payer’s dollars during Jaramillo time with the County. It is time for this Sheriff to stand up to us and for the Supervisors to start doing their jobs. I am not going away.
