Welcome aboard Larry!
No goody – another boy! Another Republican boy! Keep ’em coming. I know I can’t get enough!
Someone else from south OC! Hurrah!
Welcome, Larry.
Anon: lots of women have been asked and none has accepted. If you want to blog, let Art know. Otherwise shut up.
Why not Commie girl or does OC weekly not let her play on other sites.
I thought pointing out representation issues was relevant to the kind of dscourse that goes on in these parts. Your point about South County views is relevant, right? I think so. But my point about women and non-republicans isn’t?
I wish there were other choices other than just two: become a blogger or keep quiet.
Consider this trap shut.
You’ve made the same comment over and over for months. Does it ever occur to you that we’re TRYING?
As for party affiliation, with the addition of Larry Gilbert there are now 4 Dems and 5 Republicans. It’s not as though there’s a lack of party balance.
Point taken, Gila.
I guess I was just responding to the tone evident in “shut up.”
I apologize. I’m responding to a lot of critical emails today (not related to this blog) and I’ve gotten testy.
Here’s the kind of people we need: those who are interested in OC politics, have a decent writing ability, live outside of Santa Ana, have time to blog, and are female.
That’s a tall order! I’ve asked a lot of people and been turned down repeatedly. I think most of us have approached several folks. We’ve recently added two bloggers who apparently meet all the criteria except the “female” part.
As much as I’d like to have more female bloggers here (and BTW Claudio wishes it even more than I), I think bringing a non-Santa Ana perspective is even more important.
Tall order, indeed. but good luck and thanks for all you do here —
Welcome to OJ Larry.
Do you know where Carol Rudat really lives?
