Ryan Gene Williams in recovery at UCI Medical Center
I visited Ryan Gene Williams this evening at the UCI Medical Center in Orange. The GOP nominee for the 69th Assembly District went to the hospital at 4:30 this morning after utilizing wikipedia.com to diagnose the pain he was having in his stomach. He guessed it was his appendix – and he was right.
The appendix unfortunately burst, and was removed at noon today. Williams is in a lot of pain, and he has not eaten since yesterday. He is running a slight fever, but the medical staff told me that he should recover in a few days. His family should be here tomorrow – they are flying in from Houston.
Williams is very grateful for all the support in the blogosphere. The Liberal OC Blog and OC Blog both mentioned his illness. He was also visited at the hospital by Paul Lucas, the Democrat nominee for the 68th Assembly District, and Phil Bacerra, of the Democrat Foundation.

Art, I have two nice pictures with me and Ryan at Bedside holding up the Register. Me pointing to the headline of CUSD Sup Fleming Stepping Down and Ryan pointing to Troops on the Border. I went to see Ryan today because I know he doesnt have any family in the area and wanted to see if he needed anything. All he wanted was a copy of todays Register so I picked one up for him. Me and Ryan share similar circumstances in our races with our Registration ratios so we sometimes share our war stories, ups and downs etc etc. Ryan is a fun guy and its fun hanging out with a Republican who cant buy my whole neighborhood and evict me lol. Ironically, I just spent the last 5 hours in the ER at St Josephs in Orange. That cough I have had all week had inflamed my lungs to the point where the inflammation was making breathing very painful. Three breathing treatments of Albuterol and a prescription for antibiotics and cough syrup, I
I had stitches recently.
Shouldn’t I be running for something?

Besides, shouldn’t you be out taking more bribes from developers
instead of running for dog catcher after you get off Council?
