Carona is beginning to look a lot like Clinton
Kudos to R. Scott Moxley at the O.C. Weekly for his ongoing expose of O.C. Sheriff Mike Carona. In Moxley’s latest installment, it turns out that the O.C. Board of Supervisors may have unwittingly voted to pay for Carona’s legal fees, which stem from an outbreak of bimbo problems that make former U.S. President Bill Clinton look like a choirboy by comparison. According to Moxley, O.C. taxpayers may end up paying as much as a million dollars worth of Carona’s legal fees. And this guy is supposed to be a “top cop?”
Much has been made of Carona’s alleged role as a Bush Homeland Security advisor. However, Carona’s problems could well make him vulnerable to blackmail. You may recall that a similar argument was used against Tom Umberg when he was recently caught cheating on his long-suffering wife. Clearly, Bush needs to take this into account and cease to rely on Carona in any capacity.
