The Libertarian candidate for the 48th Congressional District

I had an opportunity today to listen to the views of Bruce Cohen, the Libertarian candidate for the 48th Congressional District, while listening to National Public Radio (NPR). He was near perfect on all the issues – it is too bad that he has no realistic chance in this election. I support John Campbell, but overall I am not very happy with the Republican members of the U.S. House of Representatives. Our country has veered towards more government, not less, and more spending overall, during the G.W. Bush years, and our national legislators have done nothing to halt that momentum. At what point do we actually hold them accountable and demand that they vote the way we would – namely for less government and less spending? Cohen called for the closure of the federal departments of education, amongst others. That would be a great start! You can find out more about Cohen online at
