Pacheco mailer may have been illegal

Gayle Pacheco, one of three Republican candidates vying for the 60th Assembly District, may have skirted the law when she set a mailer to her voters in her district using the State Capitol as a return address. Clearly she was trying to take advantage of the fact that her husband, Bob Pacheco, is the incumbent, however using the State Capitol as a return address is not something that a candidate should be doing. The law is very clear about the fact that candidates must use offices separate from their legislative offices when engaging in political campaigning. Pacheco crossed the line and should be called on it.
