CEO of Nestle Foods Feeling the Heat From Consumers

Paul Bulcke, CEO of Nestle, the world’s largest food and beverage company, said that: “It is not business as usual anymore. Pressure is mounting from all sides and angles.” What Bulcke really means is that Nestle sales are down.

Nestle who owns Gerber baby foods, is a member of the Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) who filed a lawsuit against Vermont to stop GMO foods from mandatory labeling. The GMA successfully bullied legislators in other states from moving forward but this time they failed. They successfully scared citizens in California and Washington State from passing GMO labeling laws, using deceptive advertising (they are good at that…just watch and read the ads they use to convince us their over-processed, sugary foods are healthy!).

BUT now they are scared. Maybe they beat us at the ballot box and swayed our politicians BUT they can’t force us to buy their deceptive GMO laden products. Don’t these CEOs know the power moms have? Moms do most of the grocery shopping. We have the power of the purse and like Obama once said, “I (we) have a pen and a phone.” We will use those tools to call each other. To write letters. To Tweet, send Face Book posts to  inform each other about what is in our foods and what we are doing about it (boycotting you and your fellow GMA members). We are publicly standing up against those who choose to deceive us. You thought we were too dumb to know what’s going on.

I’m here to tell you Mr. Bulcke that you that your tactics did not work. You may have won some battles but we are winning the war!

Here is the direct number to Nestle if you would like to tell Bulcke what you think
