Then obviously the charges of carpetbagging against Ackerman, Sidhu, Do and Umberg were ridiculous as well.
Did Phu move into the district just to run for the seat?

I thought the charges against Choi were ridiculous too. The Ackerman and Sidhu cases were outrages, as were the Do and Umberg cases, because none of them had ANYTHING to do with the districts in question.
Phu grew up in the 68th, left for a bit, and now he is back. And, as noted, he has many business locations in that district.

If what the neighbors say is true, Phu didn’t actually move into the 68th until recently. This is not unlike Harish Sidhu.
I think the truth about Phu’s commitment to the 68th will come should he lose. Will he stay there or will he move back to his upscale million-plus gated enclave in the 69th?
Mansoor is despicable but lying and carpetbagging is disgusting too.

Not carpetbagger, as Tony so elequently explained. But clearly Pho bailed on the “low rent” district when his Dad’s business gave him enough $$$ to do it, but at somepoint realized the move was outside the district where he had the best chance.
So what would you do? Move back and live in the 68th for a few more years, do some community activity and wait your turn……………
