Remember SCR82 – Teaching young Children about homosexuality?
Maldonado didn’t have the nerve to follow through with this bill he co-sponsored.
But – Maldonado’s support of the radical Homosexual agenda is not new. SB572 (2009) May 22nd becomes Harvey Milk Day.
This was the second attempt at this bill – it was vetoed in 2008. Maldonado actually voted against Harvey Milk Day before he voted for it!
And Senator Sam says it all: “The problem is the ideological gelding that trades his vote for personal gain, because he has nothing nor no one to fight for but himself”.
In addition to teaching Children about Harvey Milk and Homosexuality – robbing them of their innocence – the Children also have to recognize Harvey’s “accomplishments”.
And somewhere Martin Garrick has declared to Republican Leadership that confirming Abel Maldonado for Lt. Governor is a “Leadership Vote”.

Sgt. York.
Not every member of the Juice team supports Harvey Milk Day or gay rights as stated in the photo caption.
I refer to myself with this comment. Larry Gilbert
So OJ blog supports all of this. Do you have an official platform or mission statement that explains what else you support here?
The majority of writers on this blog are tolerant of gays and immigrants. Celebratory even. Including the current and former editors.
Larry, Terry and Yorky may be exceptions. Just want that to be clear. This article, without the illustration I put on it, may have given the impression that the blog endorses gay-bashing.
Brother Vern.
The fact that we might disagree on the caption should not be twisted to say that I engage in gay bashing.
You can easily confirm my being open minded by confirming with Art my visits to Memphis to dialogue with those who have a different opinion than my own on this topic.
Please re-read my comment 3, Juice Brother. I didn’t say that.
Oh, and I did change the caption. I probably shouldn’t have implied the blog has an official position since we’ve never voted on such a thing.
“You can easily confirm my being open minded”
Don’t let them back you down Larry. You don’t have to be “open minded” about your core beliefs. Is Vern open minded to the possibility that he may be offending the living God though his statements and actions?
Let’s also not forget that new Assemblyman, faux conservative and town drunk Chris Norby supported Maldonado for Lt. Governor so maybe we’ll see even more of this nonsense.
#6, I am open-minded to the possibility that YOU offend the living God by discriminating against the lovely people whom He created gay.
But you’re free to keep doing so here! Just expect a pushback.
I am certain many religious beliefs are in and of themselves anti homosexual etc.
I have faith that God knew what he was doing when he created me and I can assure you it was not my choice to be gay.
For the record I have never met anyone who was taught to be attracted to members of the same sex.
I have come to realize that God accepts me for who I am and loves me just the same. I do not expect I will end up in a very hot place by being who he or she made me.
I would be more likely to go to a very warm place by trying to be someone I am not.
I can allow you to have your own thoughts as to were I may end up, if I should have the right to visit my other half in the hospital or if I should have the same right to marry the person I love.
But I cannot sanction having the government deny me equal rights with the rest of you. The government should never be used to impose religious beliefs, even if those beliefs reflect the majority of the voters.
For example,if recall correctly the good book also tells us not to eat anaimals with cloven feet. Should we have the government impose a ban on Pork? There are many people who do not eat pork because of this passage in the Bible, but I do not think the government will ban pork.
We do not deny the people who eat pork equal rights. So why deny anyone else based on a violation of a law that is written in the Bible.
The old testiment has many rules but only 10 commandments, which commandment deals with Pork or any type of sexual perference, none that I can think of.
One commandment says something about telling the truth, should those who are homosexual violate a commandment in favor of a rule?
The new Testiment had only one commandment, love your nieghbor as yourself. Which Christ said was the most important of all.
AMEN ! #6!
Enough homophobia from this blog! “Sgt. York” is wearing THIN with his screeching against Abel Maldonado. Is he getting paid to support an opposing candidate? I’m amazed at the “Christian” ATTITUDE against gay people, although Orange County is known for its conservative opinions. And Enough bashing of Harvey Milk “Sgt”! He had more brains and guts than you will ever have!
Isn’t it interesting how those who are so ‘pro-homosexual’ twist the facts and show their ignorance. First off, I will not get into a theological debate with you about the truth and voracity of the Bible. You will lose on every point! God’s Word is very clear in regard to sexuality and His purpose for mankind. God did not make you homosexual; that was and is your choice.
As is always the case, it is science that always challenges and then catches up to the facts declared in the Bible. There are numerous examples in quantum physics and other disciplines but I will point to the APA’s (American Psychological Association) finding this year that unequivocally states Homosexuality is not pre-determined (or ‘I was born this way). Medical science has proven this to be true without question!
As for Harvey Milk, what a scam. The man was a pedophile and if you think that’s ‘gay bashing’ then I suggest you check out Randy Shilts book about this man. Mr. Shilts describes his ‘proclivity’ very clearly. There is nothing to celebrate about this man and if he were alive today he would be denounced as such.
One other point, I would define gay bashing as physically attacking a homosexual – in the literal sense. So personally I find it revealing how ‘pro-homo’ types revel in their so-called tolerance, and yet they immediately turn rabid and viciously attack those who stand for standards and values. They attack Christianity without knowing whereof they speak and as such reveal their own hate and intolerance for anyone with a differing view.
Pull out the beam that is stuck in your own eye before you try to point out the speck in another man’s eye. Btw, that is from the Bible as well.
“truth and voracity of the bible.”
Voracity?
What did the bible eat now?
