This just in over the transom: Hypocrisy and faux outrage reach a fever pitch at Red County!
Last Friday failed Santa Ana politico/gadfly “Tommy Boy” Gordon wrote a post on the increasingly irrelevant Red County blog in which he accused Tony Bushala, Friends For Fullerton’s Future and the Orange Juice of engaging in voter intimidation. The basis of his claim was that Bushala ”obtained the nominating paperwork” for carpetbagger Harish Singh Sidhu’s “quest for a seat on the 69th Republican Central Committee” and then included them in blog posts on Friends For Fullerton’s Future and here on the Orange Juice.
“Tommy Boy” contends that because the names and addresses of the folks signing this very much public document were viewable to the public that this was tantamount to voter intimidation. He said it was akin to the actions of Tan Nguyen sending letters to legal Latino voters telling them they could not legally vote. Is he kidding? Has the tryptophan from all that El Pollo Loco chicken Sidhu’s feeding him turned him into “El Gordo Loco”?
The irony in all this is that “Tommy Boy” has never once criticized his fellow Red County hack “Jerbal” Cunningham for his outing the names of Catholic Church sexual abuse victims. In fact “Tommy Boy” and folks like the LiberalOC’s Dan Chmielewski think we should just forget “Jerbal’s” horrific offense and “move on”. I guess in “Tommy Boy’s” world victim intimidation is just fine.
Let me help “Tommy Boy” out a bit here. The nomination papers you got signed for the carpetbagging Sidhu are a public document and are subject to public scrutiny. The folks signing them know or should have known that by signing said papers that certain information about them would be available to the public. Clearly they willingly signed the nominating papers and thus accept that this information would be out there for all to see. They have a clear right to nominate and support the carpetbagging Sidhu, but the public also has the right to know who is behind him as well.
On the other hand the victims of the pedophile clergy and Catholic Church personnel never consented willingly to being raped and molested. They did not knowingly sign their names to a public document with a full understanding that this information would be made available to others via an internet posting by “Jerbal” Cunningham. None of them consented to having their names being made public at any time and yet that is exactly what happened thanks to Cunningham.
Cunningham’s posting of the unredacted version of Diocese of Orange Monsignor John Urell’s deposition was done for one thing and one thing only, to intimidate those victims and scare any future victims from coming forward. This was insidious and diabolical and “Tommy Boy’s” pal and fellow blogger “Jerbal” Cunningham was the scumbag that carried it out.
“Tommy Boy” and his band of miscreants like to refer to us as the “fringe”. Well I have a question for our readers, is there are fringier fringe than those that would remain silent about child rapists, their enablers and their defenders? That appears to be the fringe that “Tommy Boy” has staked out.
Before ”Tommy Boy” falsely pontificates about “voter intimidation” when none took place, perhaps he should talk about “victim intimidation” with his pal “Jerbal”.

Art, Simply put the assertion that posting the nomination document amounts to voter intimidation is ridiculous. As if it needs explaining, signing a nomination document is akin to an endorsement and no level headed person has ever thought otherwise. Those that sign the paperwork want to be known as the supporters of the candidate (unless they were tricked in to signing something).
Who among the nomination signers ever insinuated he/she was intimidated? The answer is, of course, no one. Mr. Gordon basically created a fictional “victim” and then stood loyally by his side protecting his imaginary friend from invented peril.
Mr. Gordon and his ilk are not fooling me or anyone else. They are lashing out because a blogger has their number and finally they are being called out on things they have historically gotten away with. Notice how Gordon will not address the issue of why he feels Mr. Sidhu was worthy of support IN THE 69th (as opposed to the district he has lived in for years in Anaheim Hills). Rather, as usual, the entire post is a misdirection effort focused on a situation that doesn’t even actually exist.
Art, keep calling a spade a spade, we are not falling for the slight of hand effort by Mr. Gordon or his vermin friend Jerbal. They can beg all they want that we shouldn’t pay heed to the man behind the curtain. Meanwhile, we are staring right at him and are watching his every move.
Dave,
Art did not write this post, I did.
Thanks for the feedback.
is harrys new address in the 69th ad as well as the sup district?
It seems like Gordo is ashamed he was caught circulating petitions for ol’ Hide and Seek Sidhu who is carpetbagging the 69th AD as well as the 4th Supe District.
He should be ashamed.
Carpetbaggers, get rid of the filth.
