Jennifer Muir of the OC Register picked up on the Brett Barbre hall of fame brainstormin’ fiasco that cost the taxpayers $48,000 – courtesy of County Clerk Tom Daly’s reckless largess with our money. Interestingly, Muir cites a County rule that any expenditure more than $50,000 has to be approved by the Board of Supervisors. Hmm.

The funniest quote in Muir’s piece was Daly claiming that the whole deal was within his purview and that he paid Barbre for ideas, not “long reports.” Of course he got neither.

If anyone is paying attention, this is the MO of Phil Becerra. Justify his existance and elbow rubbing with electeds (especially Republicans), because he has sooooooooooooo many ideas and experince (bullsh*t), that he can just jabber and jabber all friggin day and not produce a single deliverable product or action item.
All talk and no action. So can anyone tell me of Phil Becerra is working on Tom Dalys campaign? Because if he is you can swear Hugh Nguyen into that office now. Because Phillis is just gonna talk all day and not deliver on sh*it and Daly is out of office.
I heard another idiot politician is thinking about running for Daly position. His name is John Dumitru who has no experience but is looking for a job. His wife who I have met is pressuring this guy to run. He will get his ass kick in the election by Tom Daly or Hugh Nguyen. They both aleast have experienced to do the job.
I know John and I think he is such bonehead who is looking for a place to hang out like Tom Daly and look what is happening to Tom Daly!
