I’ve got to ask the question – is the fact that Whitman spent an alleged $120,000 on the CRA Convention and looks to have spent 4 times that on the CRP Convention a harbinger of how she will spend the state the rest of the way off the cliff?

Steve Poizner okayed 6% increases in a back room deal for insurance companies, because 6% stays off the radar. He also signed off on the 39% Anthem Blue Cross increase that has a congressional committee investigating Anthem. This is your guy for financial management. Ask anyone who has an individual Blue Cross policy if they like his moves. You do know insurance can’t raise rates until the commissioner signs off right?

6% increases are innocuous – and what you deliberately leave out so you can make your point are the three previous years of RATE DECREASES!
