Here’s another pearl from a recent Sidhu mailer, purportedly penned by some guy named Karl Heft, who revels in the title of Vice President of the CRA (California Republican Assembly):
“…Harry is a candidate we can trust to uphold our conservative Republican values.”
Um, gee, Karl, what values would those be? Carpetbaggery? Perjury? Perpetual public office hunting? Clearly the CRA endorsement, for what its worth, can be obtained by anybody. And just to enjoy the hypocrisy of the bestowers and the receiver, read on.

It’s indeed illuminating to recall what the folks at the CRA had to say about Hide and Seek Sidhu less than two years ago, when the perennial candidate was running for State Senate – yet another job he wasn’t qualified to hold.

Yes, Karl is a good guy, absolutely.
Yes, someone who given the chance to make a statement against signing a endorsement letter for that carpetbagging nimrod Siduh or resigning, choose to maintain his position in the CRA.
Situaitional ethics….but lets all remember, He’s a great guy. I’m sure Ronald Reagan would approve.

Rather than enlightening us about Heft you want to know who I am. You are in the sun defending someone, that as I recall, no one had accused of anything – its like a non-denial, denial.
You wrote the post, I didn’t and now when I point out how pathetic it is for the head of these political organizations to put themselves ahead of the organizations integrity you call me chick shit. Now that’s adult and succinct, too. I have the same feeling about Scott Baugh and his cozy friendship with John Lewis and Tom Daly not to mention those goons over at Mauve County.
I neither belong to the OC Central Committee or the CRA. If I were a member I wouldn’t feel I could speak out. Look at your responses to me because “I shoot from the shadows” I can just imagine what would happen to me if I spoke out publicly as member of the CRA against Heft in the Siduh endorsement signature.
I’ve enjoyed the shit storm you brought down on Mauve County and I’m pretty sure from your posts, are going to clean up the CRA, but calling me names does your cause no good.
The CRA is a handful of extremist blue hair who comes out every two years for meaningless endorsements. The GOP is dead in California.
In the 1993 Glendale College Republicans, Karl was president and I was VP. We went to a California College Republicans conclave weekend where he was running for Southern Vice Chair. During a major assembly, I took the microphone and announced that Karl had done something wrong and that I was now running against him. This was totally embarrassing to both of us and everyone there. I sounded like a retard and I’m sure he lost the election because of my insolence. I can imagine that I ruined his very promising political career at that moment.
So Karl, if you ever see this, just know that you are truly a good man and that I will be forever sorry and ashamed.
