That’s right – Chuck DeVore got caught tweeting again.
He was celebrating “Leadership”. The type of leadership that supports serial tax-raiser Abel Maldonado’s confirmation to the Post of Lt. Governor.
Carly Fiorina lit Chuck DeVore on fire at both the CRA and CRP convention over it. (The flyer is embedded in the post on my home blog www.rightondaily.com)
DeVore Abstained on the vote rather than voting no as he promised – like that’s supposed to impress someone?
… and people wonder why even with the GOP slated to make huge gains in congress – that people don’t trust the GOP!?
Simple. Strategy over principle – but this time it will put Maldonado’s second confirmation hearing in the spotlight in May right as people are getting their absentee ballots.
Let’s reward a serial tax-raiser – who votes with a price (prop 14) to do so – with a nomination as Lt. Governor.
Thanks Martin Garrick, Thanks Chuck DeVore…

DeVore is full of himself and just like all the rest. You should have heard him make the littlo old Republican ladies scream with his B.S. speech. Too bad more little old ladies don’t read O.J.!
“Up Chuck” – ROFL!!!
I don’t have a problem with what DeVore says – its’ about what he does…
First things first: I am directly involved with Chuck DeVore’s campaign, as his communications director.
As has been explained in detail to Aaron Park, this post is highly misleading and contains an outright falsehood: Chuck DeVore is not, in any way whatsoever, as stated at rightondaily.com, “Supporting Serial Tax-Raiser Abel Maldonado.” To the contrary, as actual journalists have detailed, he is on record stating of Maldonado’s nomination, “I won’t reward bad behavior with high office.” One of many examples of basic due diligence yielding accuracy in reporting:

It is true that DeVore abstained — in person — on the Maldonado vote, as a means of (successfully) denying the nominee the requisite number of ayes, without directly opposing his fellow Assembly Republicans.
How this plus a long record of vocal opposition to Maldonado and his tax-hiking ways translates to “support” for him is a topic best left to Mr Park to explain. It is indeed regrettable that he chooses to promulgate outright falsehoods.
Joshua,
“It is true that DeVore abstained — in person — on the Maldonado vote, as a means of (successfully) denying the nominee the requisite number of ayes, without directly opposing his fellow Assembly Republicans.”.
Abstaining is not the same as voting no. Ask Bristol Palin how that worked out for her.
Nice going Chuckie. Wouldn’t want to make waves and “directly oppose” your fellow Republicans… If you believe in something, take a stand, don’t be a scumbag! Vote yes or no, not I think I’ll hide in the corner. Maybe when it comes time to vote, I’ll just stay home and “abstain” rather than vote for Chuck…But that would make me a loser wouldn’t it?

That’s funny, I saw the same thing a couple years ago: little old blue-haired ladies love them some Chuckie! There were half a dozen of them ogling him as he described some brilliant legislation he was pushing, to make it illegal for “Communists” to teach in the UC system (if I’m remembering precisely – you can correct me Josh.) He crowed with laughter, “I know it will never pass, I just want to get the Democrats on record voting in favor of Communists!”
Right around then, old Juice-Brother Larry Gilbert ran up, panting, “Chuck! Chuck! This is Vern Nelson! He’s not one of us!”
LMAO. ROTFLMAO.
PS. The only OC lawmaker NOT to stand up for our Fairgrounds.
