If you look at the Blog Coverage – you’ll notice that your Sgt. has been outnumbered about 10:1. Look from the multiple blog posts celebrating my ouster from Meg County to now as people are scrambling.
I am used to this since real constitutional conservatives usually get buried in Campaign fundraising by establishment candidates. My work in the Ose vs. McClintock campaign is really what gained me notoriety.
It was that work that led to the conundrum on Meg County. While Chip Hanlon has remained largely silent once the news about their payoff from Team Whitman was revealed – this blogger has broken the silence.
I have not told the whole story yet in my own words – but I have to several in the media.
I penned a blog several weeks ago about the state of blogging – I think it is a great thesis for the beginning of telling my story.
It even features a comment from the Rally Gerbil attacking Art Pedroza.
…because although you experimented with blogging before either Jon or I entered the medium… You’d love to make a living or earn an income at blogging, but you can’t, so you attack those who can.
The Rally Gerbil came straight out and said it weeks before we learned of the Meg County Payoff.

Aaron,
Great insight! Guys like Jerbal and Fleischman are in politics not to make a difference but rather to enrich themselves. They have in the process just about killed off the GOP here in California.
We get under their skin because we point this out but also because we fight their agenda. And we do so effectively.
The recall of Jerbal’s RINO friend Lance MacLean is a great example of this.
Red County slammed the recall from day one, even as unions poured thousands into the effort to save MacLean.
We won. MacLean, who had voted himself lifetime health benefits at the peiple’s expense, was recalled by 18 votes.
Were we the difference? I think so!
I ran into Poiznwr yesterday at the Tet Festval and I told him we are doing whatever we can to take out Whitman. That has to be a top priority.
We also need to defeat union hack Tom Daly, a Democrat that Jerbal is shilling for instead of backing conservative Shawn Nelson, for the Supervisorial seat once held by Chris Norby.
Imagine that. Jerbal is so depraved that he is now promoting Democrats at Red County!
That is of course the great thing about our blog. We are neither red nor blue. We promote good candidates regardless of their party affiliation. More often than not that means opposing whomever Jerbal is hacking for!
Matt Cunningham outed sex-abuse victims.
Art – “We promote good candidates regardles of their affiliation” – so where are you these days on Michele Martinez? You were once a strong promoter of her, but seem to have turned silent – think you made a mistake?
@ Older Than – we all make mistakes regarding candidates from time to time… I have at least two I can think of that I made an error in judgement supporting. I have been in this game 12 years, to have only two that I regard as a mistake, I’ll take those odds.
@Art – I also saw that Jerbal was celebrating when the attempted recall of Anthony Adams failed as well… I don’t get it… it seems his issues with Mike Schroeder overrode a good cause.
I have no beef with Jon Fleischman per ce’ – but he does play favorites as best I can tell, and I am not one of them. At least Jon has been far more consistent in his values than most I have dealt with.
The bottom line – when personalities trump principles, bad things happen.
I got lucky, I honored an endorsement and was able to put a few extra bucks in my pocket – and I will continue to roll that story out over time.
Aaron. You are not the only individual to make mistakes with endorsement of candidates. What troubles me is that I generate voter guides which others rely on. Therefore when I make a mistake, and there surely have been a few, it impacts voters that relied on my recommendations, right or wrong.
Older Than,
Oh no, I remain a big fan of Martinez.
As you know, I started a new blog last year called the New Santa Ana blog. Many stories stay there. I cross-post bigger stories here.
In fact I had a long conversation with her just yesterday.
I will be supporting her for reelection this year.
